Necessary or not???
Just wondering what some opinions are...
The word Disgustables seems to get thrown around a fair bit..
And i for one think its not needed and is simply a shallow way to have a dig at someone who does not practice the same poo/wee catchment system as they choose to use...
So what do you think??
Is it offensive/rude and really unnecessary??
Or do you see no problems with it and dont feel its hurtful??
Just curious on others thoughts and opinions.. :)
ETA - I included the same options but for sposie users and cloth users so we get a clearer idea of different opinions...

I think it is a negative comment
I would alos call it a passive aggresive comment where quiet possibly the person making the comment wants to make a point but aren't being direct in their approach.
Fence sitting.....

I dont use that word. (coz I use both!!) I think its a little harsh also. jmo.
I don't see any problem with it at all. I use the terms and I AM a sposie user too.
I think some people really need to grow up.
Think your POLL answers are a little narrow too.
I can't answer cos I use both and I use the terms and it doesn't bother me or hurt me in the slightest.
I haven't used the term because i haven't heard of it before coming here. I don't get offended by the word disgustables, i use sposies and they ARE disgusting! But so are cloth nappies, whichever way you chose to clean up your children's mess, it's still a pretty disgusting job wiping someone else's @ss and disposing of poo!

I think this thread has been started to cause a bigger rift between cloth users and sposie users.
Who cares? If you don't think they are disgusting it shouldn't bother you what other people call them
Most people who use cloth have to use disposables at some time, so there is no 'them and us'
Get over it, and stop trying to make a debate of something that is a choice as parents we make for our kids and our idividual lives and well being. Cloth or disposable user
in the poll i chose it bothers me as i am a sposie user and when used in some contexts in seems like were doing a bad thing for our kiddies by using them... id love to use cloth but am just not into all the washing so i use environmently friendly sposies from natures child. i dont think its a matter of people of growing up or not its just how some ppl take it.. arnt all pooie nappies disgusting??? just my opp.
As I believe this thread is just continuing an argument from another thread I will close it. We prefer the term wasn't used on the forum. Please be nice.
