Do any of you ladies know if early discharge exists out here? I have heard of people in large towns and cities getting home visits from midwives for a few days after the birth. But I live 45km away from the hospital and I doubt that they would make that trip daily just to see one person.
Can anyone shed any light? I have my maternity ward booking in appointment on Tuesday, but I'm curious NOW, lol. :D
