There are definately women out there who have done it. Thing is, they seem to be few and far between. That could be because a lot of women don't have more than 3 kids, but it's also because hospitals aren't very supportive of VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean), let alone VBA3C (Vaginal Birth After 3 Caesareans). Its difficult to find hospital's which will agree to VBA2C too... so you might be fighting an uphill battle.
If you REALLY want to do it, I'd seriously recommend a homebirth with a private midwife by your side. The thing with homebirth, is that you don't have doctors freaking out that you're going to sue them... so there's nobody there to tell you what to do, or pressure you. There's your midwife to help and guide you... and even then, sometimes you can get pretty hands-off middies who will only do something if there's a serious problem.
I'm not a homebirther, nor do I want to be in the future. However, I do want a VBAC, and if homebirth is my only option, then I'll most definately give it a go.
Here are some inspirational links for VBA3C...

There's plenty of links on that thread for you to check out. Some of them are even about women who had a VB after FOUR c-secs...

There have been women who have had VBAC's after five caesareans without a problem. Get your hands on books about VBAC, and talk to people from such organisations as birthrites (healing after caesarean), who offer support for women planning VBAC and elective caesarean, and who have a great quarterly newsletter, with peoples birth stories included.
