Joining the November mums

Hi Everyone

Just thought I would come and say hi. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my second baby and am due on the 13th December. However as there has been a few problems with my placenta not working 100% and the baby being very small (he is only in the 5th percentile for weight) it looks like I will be induced next week. I have been on weekly ultrasounds and have to go back on Thursday afternoon for another one to find out for sure, but the doctors are pretty sure they want to induce me next week.

Hopefully I'll have my bub by then. I was due last wednesday, but like most of these november bubs, mine is waaay too comfy in there and in no hurry to come out. I'm booked in to be induced on thursday morning.

I am due on the 30th so a few weeks away still but getting very impatient as had alot of false starts already... my first was born at 36 weeks so i am not used to being this pregnant :o Hoping my bubs will come soon......

Welcome to the November thread! You sound pretty calm, which is a good thing. Do you know the sex of your baby? I hope all goes well for you in the coming weeks.

Hi

I went for my ultrasound yesterday and everything looks fine, bubs is just really small. They have booked me in for another ultrasound next Thursday afternoon and then they will decide if/when I will be induced but they said I will definately be having him before 40 weeks. I don't mind that I'm not being induced this early because they said he might have to go in the nursery for a week or two and I wasnt looking forward to that. This way he can put on a bit more weight before he is born and hopefully come straight to the ward with me.

Absolutely Natalie !!

Samuel was born at 36 weeks and spent 10 days in NICU !! It was awful !!

I am so happy to be at almost 39 weeks now and hoping bubs will be with me and not in care :)
