Using a starbunz pocket as a cover??

Can i use my starbunz pocket as a cover over my BBB? I don't have any covers and my starbunz are a bit too big for Josh to wear as a pocket, so could i use it over the top of a BBB?

I don't see why not MYLO? I use a fleece pocket over my BBH (bamboos and hemps) sometimes when I don't have any clean PUL or fleece covers and it works fine :thumbsup:

Short answer: YEP! :D

Anything that has that water-proof-ness (hmmmmm is that a word? :laughing:) will do as a cover. You could do it like that for a night nappy too, putting boosters into the pocket nappy for that extra absorbency.

Tonight Ariene's in a bamboo BB. As a cover, I have taken the snap-in insert out of a Jam Tots Berry Plush AIO and used the outer as a cover over her fitted. Looks so lush! and works GREAT.
I also use a fuzzi bunz pocket we have as a cover- it's still miles too big to use as a pocket.

Thanks Em, that's great to know about the fuzzibunz too. Well DS fell asleep in his BBB, but i didn't get to put a cover over it! I know he will wake up again though, so i'll change him, but i don't know if i can go night cloth yet, i'm to scared he'll leak all over us cause he sleeps in our bed. So when he wakes up i'll put him in a sposie, but i might try the BBB tomorrow with a starbunz cover and see how good it is :D

Just take the plunge :D If you put him in a bamboo BBH, with both inserts and something else to boost (hemp inserts? small prefolds?) and cover it, you will be fine! :thumbsup:

I think all of us were scared to start with:D ! Once you take that first step you'll wonder why you never did it in the first place. Go for it!!!
We have dd2 sleep with us alot (not all the time) and she's never leaked. We use BB bamboo with a soaker - df, I and the bed are always dry;)

Hey Jakesmum, i got the puppy too and the lion! :D DS is in it now, using it as a cover over his BBB. I am so glad i asked cause now i can actually use them, because they are too big for him to use just as a nappy right now, but they fit fine over the top of another nappy.

I shall see how we go today in it and decide whether i'll try it at night. Might just use an extra booster and then cover it. :)
