Hi Oldermum Maria.
How do your pronounce your daughters name phonetically.....sorry for my lack of Irishness....DH is a third Irish...but that doesnt help!!!
How was living in London? Did you like it?
I'm there next Feb for a few days for a short holiday.
Hope you enjoy the site.

Hi O's Mom,

Aoife is pronounced Eefah - She will probably want to murder me for it later on with people struggling with it but I have always liked it. It is a pretty common name at home in Ireland. I really liked London but we were ready for a change, I had lived there for about 15 years (I think) apart from a couple of years in Switzerland somewhere along the way.

I assume that if you are there for a couple of days you are on your way to or from somewhere else? I am sure you will have a lovely time there for your few days.

Thanks to all for your welcomes and see you around the boards.
