Order of teeth

Hi ladies,

Just a question about teeth order.

MJ has gotten her first tooth, its the bottom left eye tooth. I have heard this is supposed to be one of the later teeth she should get.

Has anyone else experienced cross cutting as my mum calls it?

My DS got his bottom teeth first but............


a little girl in my mothers group got the one you were talking about first then she got the one on the top next to the front ones.

I guess teeth come however they like!

How did your bub go with teething as I have heard cutting that tooth can be painful for them!

So far so good. She's recently found her thumb, and has been chewing it & drooling alot but thats it.

I hope it stays this way, but I doubt it :o

Both my DDs have cut teeth not in the "standard order". We thought for a long time that DD1 was missing both of her second-from front teeth at the top because they just didn't come down (should be 7th and 8th). She had ALL her other teeth and then at around 3 YEARS OLD, one of them came down :confused: .

I thought DD2 might have similar missing teeth, as one of her second from front bottom teeth didn't come through (should have been 5th or 6th). She is 18 mounths old and has 4 of her molars, but the "missing" tooth has just appeared :confused: . It is her 12th tooth.

Bizarre - but I wouldn't worry about out of order teeth.
