I like fitteds for bed, pockets/aios for ease when out and flats when home for NFT (lie them underneath her).

I love em all
BUT
I especially love anything with snaps.
Skyla learnt how to pull her GK's off today:eek:  :barf:
I like pockets the most, fast drying, adaptable to suit all absorbancy needs.
But second I LOVE fitteds... BAMBOO fitteds....:o ;)

lol- first I loved AIO's, then the love affair with pockets came around. Now it is fitted bamboo nappies with wooly covers! Basically whatever is best for Laura at the time is my favourite- the heat has ruled out anything with PUL involved.... :-( All my Nic Naps AIO's going to waste.....

Im a fitted's girl here! Currently enjoying re-introducing myself to my bamboo flats at the moment too.
hmm, maybe pockets. I only have a few AIO's, but I do like them and am thinking of getting more.
um, dunno really. Whichever has the cutest material.

Put a poll up Ally. You may need to make it multiple choice though.

Well for Boof pockets have been a winner for us. Makes it easy for daddy to cope with & even Boof is starting to know how to stuff them .... I have a slave & he isnt even two yet :devil6:
My fear with AIO's is the drying time especially in winter as we get no sun at all in our back courtyard & while we have a dryer we cant afford to run it all the time so means holding out for quite awhile while they dry !
Have already started getting a few fitteds for Bump because with that many nappy changes i think that will be our best bet ! He/she can then move onto pockets when a bit older.

Pockets here, although I am yet to really try fitteds, I only have the one.

I love bamboo fitteds, with a wool cover or a ME PUL.
But, I do love pockets for going out, mostly because they're cute and easy to explain to interested strangers  And simple for out-and-about nappy changes. But, I hate the un-stuffing when it comes to putting them into the nappy bucket.
I am loving Pockets, same reasons as Allyoo, you can change the absorbency to suit, and they are fast drying. I find they fit really snugly too. My fav at the moment would have to be my bumgenius, really impressed with this nappy.
I like my BBB too, but they do leak quite a bit and i know i need to get some covers, so i only use them at home at the moment. But i do think each nappy has it's own benefits and uses. :)

I tried but for some reason it didn't work... Oh well...
Where do most people get their covers (fleece or PUL) for their bamboo BBH's? I have two Tot Bot's fleece covers, 3 PUL BBH covers, and a Bummi's cover on its way (should arrive today :D) How many covers do you need when using fitteds?
Also - with bub being born in winter, logic tells me that fleece would be a better cover than PUL - is this right?
You don't need a heap of covers really. Since you can air one out while you use another and have 1 or 2 in the wash ..

I love fitteds for at home, and always use (and LOVE!) pockets for out and about. They are just so reliable and trim for when we are out:yes: I have a few AIO's that only get used at the end of my stash...
Pockets definitely..it's all I own!

Fitteds at night- and as I get a few more, I'll use them occasionally during the day as well.
And I ALWAYS put Ariene in a patterned pul pocket when we go out to show off her cute cloth butt :D She is in them most of the day at home, too.

Nah its not a bad thing at all !

Oh - does that mean I cant buy more for the next one? Unlikely!!!
So it seems Fitteds and Pockets are what most hubbers use the most...

That was my way of conning DP so i could get more
I was already getting a stash organised for Bump before & even after we stopped trying to conceive !
Guess he/she decided it had better come to fill those duds !

LOL - But if you work it out logistically - then IF the second bub were in sposies, then they would still cost the same amount as the first bub. So TECHNICALLY you should be allowed to spend the same amount of mulah on MCN's for the second as you did on the first! Its only fair? LOL!!
With a husband who is a contributing member of GreenPeace I was never going to be allowed to use sposies - just as well he married a woman who loves these MCN's!! Oh - and loves shopping for them :D
Fitteds here - perhaps when Olivia is a bit older I will like pockets more. They are just not very reliable for newborn, breastfed poo IMO. Perhaps if they made pockets with gussets it would be better - but I haven't seen any!

I agree i should be able to have pretty nappies if i have a girl this time round ! I havent got pink i mean cmon i have to have at least 3 pink ones right ;)
Oh dear i would hate to see your Hubby & Baz together they would be re-inventing the world !
I dont contribute anymore due to various reasons but i still back a lot of work they do as does DP !
Pockets! Love the trimness....
And we use BBH with a fleece cover, or PUL wrap at night.
Fitteds most definitely.
I prefer bamboo fitteds and wool covers. Don't use much else now.

I have a pocket with gussets and an AIO with gussets if you are interested.
Fitteds most definitely.

Yeah, me too Kymmy. Except I still use my PUL (for daycare) and fleece covers while waiting for more funky soakers and shorties to pop up. I've also been investigating the bamboo flats from nurture nappies, but I'm not very adept at folding flats :o But they're bambooooooo and I waaaaaaaant them

I have used Fuzzi Bunz on DD since she was a few weeks old. I got them to contain DD's bf poo's and they never once leaked!
Carly - I have a bamboo flat. You could use it as a booster - just double up so it doesn't have to a perfect fold (I am no good at real folds )

 Cheers Kymmy!
I knew you'd find a way for me to "need" the bamboo flats :shame: :D
The bamboo flat could also just be pad folded into a cover, for a really quick nappy change!
Mumtoone - I have had no luck getting pockets to keep the poo's in - she only goes every few days, and when she does it is so immense, it just flows out the sides :o DH is so scarred from it going all over his car seat that he will not put her in pockets anymore!
Kymmy - what type of pocket and AIO are they? Size? Ta.
Love the flat folded in half in a well fitting cover - easy!
Pam- The pocket was made by a NZ wahm so probaly impossible to get. It is one size - looks similar to a bumgenius but with snap closure. The AIO is by Nature's Child.
