February 2006...one whole year on!!

So....where are we all hiding...those who were part of the Feb 2006 pregnancy thread, we followed each others journeys right from the start and now here we are, with our bubbas nearly 1 year old!

I can't believe how fast it has flown, it feels like yesterday I was scared to have my 2nd c-section and speaking nearly daily to 'eleanor' as we both feared it! I've changed my user name since those days too.

So come on out everyone that shared that journey, tell us how you are your bubs are....

Hey minime, I missed out on sharing my journey with you and it has been so quiet in here I joined March! (Ruby was born on the 28th Feb, so were only cheating a little bit!).

Ive got mixed feelings about 1st birthday! happy, sad, and scared!

I can't believe Declan is getting So big.

He is now crawling (FINALLY) and so hopefully will start losing SOME chub .... but this boy is BIG!!!! Well compared to my other two anyway.

He has hit 10kg and is still the brightest spark I've come across .... he has a MEAN temper however and has taken to pulling his sisters hair and biting his brothers fingers .... but hey there is only so many times you can tell the OLDER children to keep their hair and hands AWAY from him ... they'll learn!! :laughing:

M do you have to challenge Ruby's diet?? I've been told that I have to get Declan off the ELecare and onto "normal" foods so it means Challenging the allergy to see if his body will accept it. It will be great if he can .... but ...................

Rubyred I remember my DS1 first birthday ... we had 80 guests and (cos he was walking very well) I kept getting told how small he looked and how quick the year had flown by and I remember thinking "he is one now, there's is no baby left in him." but now he is nearly 5 and there is STILL baby left in him. hehehehehehe

I have Declan's 1st birthday and Ciaran's 5th birthday to organise for the SAME weekend. their FATHER's idea, not mine!!! So yeah joy ... Declan will end up with a BBQ and Ciaran probably Macca's ..... At least I'm not pregnant for this party .... I seemed to be for all the rest of them!!!!

They dont half hurt sometimes hey!? I guess your other kiddies will learn!:D Ruby GRABS at my face & nose and it REALLY HURTS! :shame:

She goes for the dog aswell - poor thing!

She's commando crawling everywhere now - another slow starter! really shows how dirty my floor is sometimes! Better go and get the mop! No probs with allergies as yet but isnt eating much in the day - I'm putting this down to teeth

Wow Tisme - 80 guests for your DS1's first birthday! I dont think I even know 80 people! Am hoping to get a few friends together :fingerscrossed: Its good to hear there is still SOME baby left when they hit 5!

Alana stuck her finger in Declan's mouth this morning to retrieve a bead or something .... well suffice to say he chomped down on it and wouldn't let go. Poor kid was walking aaround all day with a dent in her finger.

We got his injections done today also, and even the nurse said "he's a strong little man isn't he??"

we have an appointment with the same Gastro that has been dealing with Ciaran in March so I guess that'll be the start of a long time. and my parents are going away :eek: early April so unfortunately M I won't be makig it up to visit ....... Sorry :crying: :crying:

he is ONE!!!!!!! I can't believe my baby is ONE!!!!!

Well as of 8:30am I have a TOddler on my hands, a pre-schooler AND a kindy kid ..... Am I F*N NUTS!!!! hehehehehehehehe
