Hi, My name is Hilja and i am thinking of starting a mums group for mums from all over the world that live in Melbourne with no family in OZ and are feeling lonely .so if anyone is interested just PM, Leave a post or send me an e-mail hcrossthwaite@hotmail.com

I am from Finland,born in Estonia and speak Russian. . I have 4 boys and married to a great guy Adam. . I live in Point Cook...

Sooo, Everyone lets get together and have some fun.

Wow, Finland, that's very far from home. Hope you are enjoying oz too. I am from Oz, but just wanted to let you know there is a general Melbourne meet on this Thursday for any bubhubbers in Vic. Here is the thread if you wanted to come:

That sounds like a great idea. I'm from the UK, been here two years. My first bub is due on 5th Feb :yelclap: otherwise I would have gone to the Melbourne meet this week. I'm struggling a bit now, but I'm up for future meets etc.

Look forward to getting to know others

Hi Hilja, I'm originally from Canada and am actually on holiday there at the moment. But would be interested in meeting up when I get back in March. Only problem is that I work full time, so it would have to be a saturday afternoon or on a sunday. I'm in north-east Melbourne, Heidelberg area.

Martha I am from Canada as well..I live close to you..im in Balwyn :)

Hilja - Im sure you'll love melbourne i know i do... as for the mum's group i'm keen i just live on the other part of town with no vehicle and DS is only 7 weeks old so dont really want to take him on long journeys round town.

i was meeting some mums there on friday from another forum.
funny small world we live in.
we have been in aussie for about 14mths now.
plan to stay 2 more years then back to nz to settle down for a change.
so far me and hubby have lived in 4 countrys and 10+ homes since we ahve been married.
