Hi trenk, I don't know of an international mums group in Melbourne, but I just thought I'd post to help revive this thread. I've been living down the peninsula since August and have a 17 month old boy and a little girl due in August. I'd be interested if you get a group going.
hi there,
would love to be part of your group if it is going on! I am a mum to be ( in 3 months). I am French and would love to meet new persons in the area.

Hi everyone,
We have just moved to Melb from Paris and live in West Melb, near the Queen Vic markets. I have a 2 year old son who would love some international playmates :) drop me a line if you would like to meet up.

hi, im from south america have a 2 years old daughter, would love to meet up :)
Hi mummies,
I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby & started a group 3 months, as I couldn't find any pregnancy groups that actually met up for activities. Being pregnant and being a mum is such a wonderful time and I felt should be enjoyed & shared with people who are going through the same life changing experience. Especially if you are doing it on your own or if you are away from your family & friends for whatever reason.
Since then, we have about 40 mummies from all over Victoria (and all over the world) who are either pregnant with their first baby, have just given birth or have toddlers. We have quite a few mummies who have relocated from overseas and are now living away from their families & friends.
Anyone can suggest an activity and those interested post a message and we do this until we come up with an agreed (hopefully central) meetup activity/location. There are meetups once every week or fortnight and no, we never tire of talking about babies and kids!
We try to do activities to accommodate everyone...during the week, weekends and also have some including daddies so they don't get left out. No doubt we will start organising playgroups for bubs soon.
Please have a look on the following link and join up if you think it's for you and feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

Let me know what you think!
