Anyone go to the Wedding Expo in Bris this weekend?

I did. Not that I'm a bride-to-be or anything...

My friend is recently engaged, so I asked if she wanted to go... she did. She bought a friend along too. We went today (Sunday).

Anyway, I loved it because I got so inspired for MY wedding (when, and if, I ever get engaged...)... and I love that my friend was so stuck for ideas that she looked to me for heaps of advice and asked me to REALLY help her plan her wedding (enables me to live vicariously through her...lol).

ALSO - they give away a massive prize. You win a free dress up to the value of $1500, $1000 worth suit hire, $1000 worth photography, and a free ceremony at some chapel.

Anyway, who should win but my the friend my friend bought along! It was crazy. If anyone went, my friend was the crazy yelling girl who yelled out, at the top of her lungs, "HOLY CR*P!"

Did anyone go, and get any good ideas?

Ow wow, that's fantastic for your friend. :smiliedance: I didn't even know the expo was on or I would have gotten the day off work and gone... Even though I already have everything planned for my wedding, but still it can never hurt to get some more ideas.:thumbsup: Oh well, hopefully there is another one soon.:fingerscrossed:

I'm heading up to Bissy this weekend coming to help a good friend shop for her wedding. I hope she got herself along to it!

Um... there's LOTS of Expo's all around the place this year... all for Weddings.

It depends on where you live as to which wedding expo you'd probably go to... or rather, where you're holding your wedding. It seemed to be very brisane-only... not GC or anything...
