After YET ANOTHER trip to the bathroom during the night (oh god, I can't believe I have another four weeks of this!) I must have woken my hubbie up from his sleep a little, he rolled over and said "You need to fill me in about the six sided nappy thing, I think that they'll be better that the greenkids." he then rolled straight over and started snoring. After pulling a suitable wtf? face I couldn't stop laughing.
I'd spent the day yesterday sewing up some nappies and we'd been talking about it just before we went to bed, so they were obviously on his mind. I asked him this morning what the hell the "six sided nappy thing" was and he didn't have a clue what he had been talking about, but remembers having a dream that involved cloth nappies somehow.
I'm still chuckling over this, looks like I've finally converted him for good!:smiliedance:

Wait until he starts preaching to family and mates about how good modern cloth nappies are

My DH reckons he can fold nappies in his sleep (we've used flannelette flats for 3 children - MCN were not invented in 1991 when we had #1), but he's never had a dream about them to my knowledge........
LOL! He sounds well and truly converted!
My DF raves about the nappies to anyone who'll liste. He's very proud  Even gets the lingo right! However, he hasn't dreamed about them yet...that's too classic!
I'd love to know what creation he was dreaming about, sounds pretty good! A six sided nappy
my dh was never interested in them when i brought them, but now that i make them he thinks theyre pretty cool:laughing: He says i should sell them:rolleyes: But thats classic dreaming about them
Maybe he meant six snaps on the sides?

That is so great! My partner loves cloth nappies...raves about them to everyone. He can't believe it when people start talking about pins and folding.

Okay, that's just the funniest thing I have heard :D It's like when I woke up with leg cramps a few nights ago and I'm moaning and rubbing my leg, he wakes up, jumps out of bed and asks if he should "grab the bag", I'm like, "they probably won't appreciate me going to L&D for a bad cramp babe" :)
I am cooking in this heat, remind me never ever to go through the third trimester during summer EVER again!
