Place to buy

Will be arriving on the Tweed Coast in Feb we are looking at buying but will be living in Kingscliff till we do was wanting some input on wher is good to buy and where to steer clear of.

We bought a 2 brm duplex in sth tweed about 6 mnths ago and we have just been offered $30,000 more than what we paid for it! So this area is definately booming but still fairly cheap to buy. Kingscliff ,cabarita etc is a beautiful area but very expensive so i guess that will depend on your budget. There arent too many places i would avoid, this whole area seems to be booming, so its probably good you are getting in early while things are still reasonably affordable. thanks we were looking at getting a townhouse but we are looking at being in the area for years so need more room for kids.

Have seen a few in Bilambil height is that area good? also don't want to be where it might flood. Budget of about $400,000 if the house has everything we want.

we still arn't sure though if we want to buy somethign and do it up or buy something with everything already done hence the high budget.

Bilambil is really nice. Its a little way out of town (tweed heads) but it doesnt take too long. Maybe 10 mins. We looked at a couple of places there but they were a little out of our price range. Maybe in a couple of years:rolleyes:
