I was thinking about this recently too. I was looking at the Hunter locations thread, there are a few around Newy way now. I was going to suggest a coffee at Starbucks or something????

Count me in... If we do Newy way should try and think of somewhere that is kiddie friendly... big enough for prams and something to keep the bigger ones amused...

Count me in!
I loved meeting with all of you the other day!
Anywhere is good for me

But some where toddler-friendly would be excellent :)

I can only come on Mon or Tues afternoon. I agree with somewhere child friendly, Starbucks may be a bit hard with everyone. Why not a picnic or lunch at the Foreshore park. There's heaps of room and grassy areas and there's the climbing equipment too. Just a thought.

Maybe plan a day next week? The indoor play sounds good and the play cafe  If it's going to be anything like today *Ugh*

I'm going to try make the Central Coast meet, anyone else going to that one?

Wondermum, I might be going to the coast meet.

Foreshore Park is great, they have great play equipment. I was there the other week on a hot day but the ocean breeze was just lovely.

I live in Maitland but believe it or not I've never been to that Play Cafe place!

Megamania dos coffee etc.. as well but not sure if it costs alot to get in?

I've never been there either Zoe, even though I go to Maitland every other week!
Next week might work, depends on how many sleepovers we end up having for the kids friends before school goes back.
After that only Monday to Wednesday works for me, as we have early intervention on Thurs and Speech Therapy on Fridays. Now, if they would just let me know when we'll have Occupational Therapy, then I'll be apples:yes: !
Not fussy about travelling, so am easy as to where we go, but it must have fences if it's a park or something, or I will spend all the time chasing Jock and Bronte...:banghead: .

Hi Trudie  Welcome to Bubhub

Hey Jkat :D

Ok - let's organise something! I'm desperate to get outta this house for a day... lets set a date and place.

I'll start. I was thinking, how about Newcastle Foreshore this time? It's free and kid-friendly. But I'm open to anywhere else, especially somewhere with coffee for Wondermum :D Megamania, is an idea, but it is $$$, so just depends on how many want to pay.

How next Monday? (the 29th)

Wondermum

I think the foreshore is a good idea. I don't need the coffee I'll survive.... I hope :o :D

I was looking on the web at megamania and smartypants indoor play centres and smartypants seems to be slightly cheaper.

How about we attach a poll to this thread with a few options of dates and locations for next week?

Good thinking about the poll. I cant make it next monday but if its then, I hope u all have a great day :D

phineas

Poll sounds good - why don't we do one with dates, make it multiple option, and just tick all the days you can come, and we pick the day with the most votes?
Rian, you'll have to do it I think because you started the thread?

Gumby

I had to make another thread because I couldnt for the life of me work out how to add a poll...lol
