Does anyone know if there are any open-air pools on the northside offering infant swim classes. I would prefer a pool with a sunshade. I know there are quite a few indoor centres springing up but they seem to be hot and smelly - unless someone can recommend an indoor centre - I'm just a bit put off by the overchlorination and humid temperatures in these types of centres.

Thanks

Hi

I was not keen on an indoor pool for my 6mth old Alexander however I was recomended to try Acquatic Achievers at Aspley and found them to be fantastic. Because the facility is brand new and fully airconditioned there is no smell and everything is kept exceptionally clean. They are located behind Toys R Us at the Aspley hypermarket and I would recomend you go and have a look as I was pleasantly surprised.

Cheers
Liz :)

Yeah, i second going there.
We have followed the head instructor and owner Cameron there from The Gap even though there are plenty of pools closer. He is so great with my 4 year old - the first one that's actually got him in the pool! They are a lovely family too :)

Thanks to both of you for the feedback - I'll go down and check it out for my little waterbaby!

Hi all

Our Lachlan is going to the Aspley one too....actually had his 4th lesson this morning. He is 8 mths and absolutely loves it...I too like the fact that it is new and clean!! I noticed that Splash at Chermside is a bit old and smelly etc!!

I can recommend AA at Aspley too! :D
