That poor cat, it's so sad and i don't even like cats.

Who feeds animals bread ? It swells in their stomach. No wonder why it's huge. It's animal cruelty :shame:

Just a couple of days ago (think it was Sunday) on the news 2 brothers in england (they were in the 60's I reckon) recieved a good behaviour bond for cruelty to animals because their dog was obscenely overweight and against advice of the vet they kept overrfeeding it. The dog (a lab) was 70 kilos.

Their excuse was 'Oh its old and has athritis so it could do anything and eating made it happy'.

They still dont think they did anything wrong as they were doing it out of love for the dog and dont believe they should have recieved a good behaviour bond.

I say that they deserve it 100%.

The poor dog. No wonder it couldnt do anything...it was so damn fat! Just makes me mad!

And my DP...well...he thought it was ridiculous that they couldve gone to jail if they didnt get a good behaviour bond. In his mind overfeeding wasnt cruel.

After much "discussion" :banghead: we had to agree to disagree. I still think its cruelty to animals to overfeed to such a degree.
