Toilet training Journal

Hi all :)

I started TTing DS today and thought Id keep a journal of our experiences.

Day one

This morning DS said "poo poo" and pointed to his nappy (this is his sign) so I ran to get his knickers off and to get him on the potty. He did a poo in his potty!

He wet his pants twice both times he stood in the middle of the lounge room shaking his head and saying "poo poo" (he says poo for both no1 and no2 :p )

He also did two wees in the potty.......Im so pleased this whole thing is getting off to a good start as I have been nervous to start as his not even 16 months yet but his so keen so I gave in.

Wish me luck girls and feel free to post helpful tips, advice or have a chat about how your TT is going ups/downs etc

Day 2

Hmmmm not a good morning lol 5 wet undies and only one wee in the potty!

He did do a poo in the potty but only coz I caught him in time.

Maybe he is too little to start.......I dont know? I think intellectually he knows his going to do it but physically he cant hold on and get to the potty in time. No2's are easier as they are slower LOL :D

Must keep positive, I started doing a dance every time he sits on the potty it goes like this:

Pee pee in the potty, pee pee in the potty!
Poo poo in the potty, poo poo in the potty!

and I dance around the potty like a crazy person LOL :D DS seems to like it and joined in swaying back and forth, clapping his pudgy little hands and laughing!

I think Im going to be certifiable by the time he gets it LOL
