is there demand for doulas on sunshine coast

hi everyone,
i am a mum of 2 just had bubby on the 1st of nov 06 so i am very aware of it all! and i am about to commence my doula course with optimim birth. well not sure now been reading childbirth international looks alot more informative and are reequired to do more but i like the cd rom idea with optimumbirth what do all you's think? any way I am on the sunshine coast and i was wondering if many people use doulas here is there much demand? i am attending my friends birth in march i am soooooooooo excited this is a passion of mine and i am very much excited to start my new life in a world of a doula!

I imagine there would be! I have been looking around for one and there seem to be a couple in Brisbane and further south but none up this way.

There would be growing demand on the Coast Jodie,

Well its now official I am now a doula in training and i'm so excited:party: i have learned so much already though from my doula!!! my trainee doula which i think has now got the certificate she was soooooooooo great. :hugs: so any one that needs a doula on the sunshine coast or caboolture area look me up(pm me) im a trainee doula looking for pregnant woman to pass my knowledge too and to support you in that all amazing experience 'birth':thumbsup:
