Hi all,
I hail from Christchurch , NZ and have lived in Sydney for years but after a stint at home in NZ have returned with my husband and since our return nearly two years ago, have had our first baby, Sylvie. We are really lucky to have my brother here and I am also lucky to be able stay at home to look after both Sylvie and my 20 month old nephew.
I want to add to our great life and expand our and these two cuties friends. We love Sydney and miss home and the familiar faces. Sylvie is an Australia citizen and I want to keep her and our Kiwi ties ( or is that just accent!). We have a strong family and friend base at home but would really like the same here.
If you are a Kiwi, married or partner a Kiwi, want to be a Kiwi, want to boost your Kiwi-sounding-slighty-Aussie accent, or simply want to hang out with Kiwis, then let me know. I am happy to co-ordinate a location etc and would love to hear if anybody else is interested.

Kia ora Nora

What an excellent idea a Kiwi Playgroup, I have been looking around for ages and hoping someone might start one up. My partner and I are both Kiwi's too we have a little boy who will be 2 in a few weeks so would love to get him involved in our kiwi culture as much as possible but most of our family and good friends are back home and don't know too many kiwi's here in Sydney so would love to meet up sometime if you do decide to start up a Playgroup or even meeting up for coffee is a good way to start aye! Let me know hear from you soon Cheryl Oh! we live in St Marys

Hi I am from Tauranga (NZ) and have only been here for 5 months. Im really missing home and going back for a visit in 3 weeks to see family and friends. I do enjoy the lifestyle here though. I live in west Sydney (Blacktown area). A meet up would be good to meet some new people. I have a nearly 10 month old girl. Just let me know if you do decide on where and when to meet up

Shame you're not in Melbourne :) I'm from Christchurch as well. Been here since 2005 & love it.

I do, however, feel a bit bad that my son (born 2006) & the bub I'm currently expecting won't be getting any Kiwi culture here...next time I'm back home, I'll have to get them some special educational Kiwi books & toys, etc...just to remind them of our heritage :)
