Hi,
my name is Melissa and i used to be a midwife. i have worked all over sydney, in all areas of midwifery for a number of years.
I have established a service for women and families who need support and advice during pregnancy and birth.
i can help you choose your carer / hospital / birth place, provide one-on-one antenatal classes (specific to your pregnancy and birth needs), provide birth debriefing, general pregnancy and birth counselling, preconception care, nutrition & exercise advice and birth advocacy.
this service is great for first-time mums, people who are new to their area and are unsure of there to go and what to do, anyone needing extra care during their pregnancy for whatever reason, and so on.
the service is unbiased and supports all birth choices. you can claim from your health fund. I provide home visits, as well as phone and email support for people who are not from sydney.
