Hi People!

I'm a first time Dad anxiously helping my wife to find a good ob in the Wesley or North West Private Hospitals.

Any thoughts and recommendations would be gratefully received!

Hello,
I'd recommend Dr Tronc - he has an office at the Wesley. He delivered my first bub and I am heading back up to brisbane (from Sydney) so he can deliver my second bub. I guess that's a pretty good recommendation (going back a second time :) ).

He gets booked out pretty quickly so it's best to call as soon as you can.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Congratulations to you and your wife. Although he is not my regular ob. Dr David Hill delivered my first baby. He was so lovely and helpful through the whole labour and birth. He delivers out of both The Wesley and NorthWest. I think his office is at Northwest which would make parking a little easier for your visits.

My ob is Dr Ross Turner and he is great as well although I think he only delivers at The Wesley.

Hope this helps.

I completely agree with Mrs Casper and Gracesmum !

I had Dr David Hill for both my first (miscarriage) and second (YAY it's a beautiful boy!) preganancies. He was fantastic and is on rotation with Nikki Whelan who looked after me with the first when David was away.

They are both fantastic ! Very supportive and understanding. They made the birth a pleasure and my unfortunate miscarriage much easier to deal with.

Both have offices in Wickham Tce. I also saw Dr Hill at his part time office at the Wesley. Both work the Wesley and North West. I think Ross Turner is also on that same rotation now with David and Nikki ?

David Hill : Phone 3831 0558

Best of luck with your bubba !! :D

Hi there

We had our first baby at nth west private in june of this year and our ob was Dr Christopher Price.
He is worth his weight in gold ! ( or certainly the money we paid to him!)
We found him to the point in his visits initially but as things neared the end, he kicked right in and discussed all our options and concerns.
Even during labour and delivery he was quick thinking and new exactly what he was doing. It just makes you feel all the more confident I guess.
I would highly recommend him for sure and we will be back with him to have number two.
I also had nothing but thanks and praise for nth west hospital and all its staff. They were all so supportive and helpful. Plus the rooms are nice too. Food isn't bad either !

Hi

If you are after a female OB/GYN, I recommend Dr Eva Kretowicz. She delivers a the Wesley, and has been my Ob/Gyn for nearly 3 years. She is fanatasic. She handled my miscarrage this time last year, and the recent birth of our first son.

One of the the good thngs I found about her is she visit the suburbs for check ups. She comes out to North West (alhtough doesn't deliver there), and chermside to see her patients, oh and she has her city rooms too.

Her number is 3831 4090

Hope this has been helpful

I'd highly recommend dr NIkki whelan. Without too many details, I ended up having an emergency caeser.... She was superb and I had absolutely no issues with pain or anything after delivery. If you can get in with her then do. Fantastic support team as well!!

I also loved Nicki Whelan and will definitely go back to her for my second (!) - hopefully in the future.

Wow you have sooo many choices here you can pretty much pick a name from a hat and be safe with it:-)
My Ob at the Wesley is Dr Ross Turner. I've been with him a few years and have no complaints at all.

I would recommend Dr Tuicolo. He delivered both of my girls and has helped us through some difficult issues. His fees are very reasonable as well.

He has a great bedside manner and I would recommend him to anyone!

NWPH is great too for the natural setting, free parking and I found the midwives to be great and the food quite good!
