thanks everyone for the info on low levels of fluid. i cant help but worry, and my ob is only in the office mon,wed and fridays so theres not much i can do until wednesday at the earliest. my level is 5-6, i made them give me a copy of the results.

shezi - if you have an epi you have to stay on the bed and you have the monitors on your tummy and they tell you when the contraction is happening, so when to push, that's what i heard anyway. cant believe you had an epi and could still move around, wish i could have that.....Shezi i was thinking about asking to be induced, as i'm due next week and baby is not engaged and i am starting to panic about baby's wellbeing, at what point will you want to be induced, or will you just go over date and keep waiting?

bluegin, i just dug out my receipts (yes i'm bored again!) i bought an expensive mattress protector from target - it was $20.99 but was on sale i think at 30% off so maybe around $30, it is really thick and doesnt look breathable but is called "breathable mattress protector - asborbent waterproof backing" 132cm x 70cm. and the cheapies i got at bigw were "Cott Mattress Protector" $9.94, and i got a two pack "Fluffy 2 pak protector" for cradle $5.98 - they are alot thinner. They were cheap and they werent on sale, a good bargain actually. I never saw cheapies at Target, but my local Target is ****.

Emma - i remember when your DH said that he he he....what are you using and do you find you have to change it often?

Hi Girls, I'm no help on the mattress protectors - Sorry. I've just got whatever I had for Ryan and that was coming up 4 years ago...kind of plastic bottom but with a towelling type of top on it. I then have a sheepskin protector on top of that.

Nice to see a few of you still up and yacking. I was actually heading to bed when (unfortuantely) I noticed the biggest huntsman spider on the roof near my bedroom  - so hate spiders!!!!! And why do they always show when DP is away .
Anyhoo just used about 1/2 a can of spray on it and decided to sit here and catch up on the goss while waiting for it to stop moving. Fair dinkum it started coming towards me at the computer - had to hit it again and really drowned it this time. Feel a bit stupid now - I must be a zillion times its size - and generally I don't mind them BUT they gotta stay OUTSIDE.

Sorry - bit freaked out here but calming down now :o. It will probably feature in my dreams tonight so I will likely read a good book in bed for the next hour before finally passing out!

Sorry for the long rant :ecomcity: - thanks for listening.

firsttime i was induced with M at 40weeks5days and with D at 39weeks.. i had a mini freakout with D (well ok not so mini) i read an article about a woman having a stillborn at 39weeks and i panicked.. D was all ready to go and my dr offered to induce as i was already 3cms and having contractions on and off for over a week so thats why i had her early.. looking back i regret it though coz i doubt i wouldve gone overdue and i should have just been patient. but the thought of what that mother went through :crying:
anyway i will shut up coz this isnt the time to be talking about sad stories!! i dont want anyone freaking like i did!

this time my dr has said he allows 10days overdue then induces.. we were going to settle on the 8th if bub hadnt arrived by then but will see how i go. and yes the epi was amazing.. but i am hoping to not need one this time.

also if you are induced they monitor constantly now.. that was extremely frustrating being stuck to a bed as they have the monitors strapped to your belly.. another reason i want to go in naturally.. i would love to try water to ease the pain and a beanbag.. things that just havent been possible before.. also if they feel they need to monitor you constantly with being induced it always makes me wonder why.. naturally its obviously the safest way.. but i will have no prob being induced if i go over a week over my dates..

gosh girls 200 pages!!

Mumtoryan - you are due next week - luckily you have finally packed or it could be too late!

Shezi - good tip on the bather top, i've now packed one. Thanks for your experience on inductions etc, gives me some food for thought....i guess i just need to calm down and be patient.

Firsttime.. I'm suire if it was a serious issue with the Low amniotic fluid the sonographer would have booked you in to see the B straight away. Hope all is well.

Mum2Ryan.. When we went on our trip away a few weeks ago, there was a big huntsman in the bungalow. DP let it escape up the wall and I was wetting myself with fear. I gpt a big glass of water and threw it all over the spider and drowned him out.

I've packed toadlet's bag and started gathering things for my bag.. I actually need to GET a BAG! I only have a very big one or very tiny one.

Bluegin your cot is lovely.

It's 2am and I couldnt sleep. felt AF pains in my tummy and my wrists and hands were getting badly numb. Even putting them in the correct position. Had to get up and take some panadol and shake my wrists out.

LL very excited for you!

Aww LT hope you felling better soon. Sucks not being able to sleep. well I was able to sleep but someone woke for a feed lol.

emma you are doing so well to have a newborn and still manage to get online..
Yes I'm quite lucky, Cooper just sleeps all the time. :fingerscrossed: he stays that way lol.

Emma - i remember when your DH said that he he he....what are you using and do you find you have to change it often?
I managed to buy a nice mattress protector I think I paid around $36. I haven't even use it yet...it's on the mattress but Cooper is still in his basinette. I think I might have to buy another one as if he wets one I'd need another to take it's place.

the next TARGET catalogue is online already - 10-30% off nursery stuff.
Oh thanks for letting us know...I need a few things this week.

Have a good sleep all.

 I remembered your post about that when I asked actually! Too funny, but nah, methinks it's worth the visit to the shops :p ;)

Question though: If mattress protectors are waterproof, do they make the mattress non-breathable in any dangerous way?

BG - Sorry i should of been more clearer, the matt protector i got is made of fabric and totally breathable, has some special water proofing ability LOL if that makes sense.. no plastic, i meant it came in a plastic wallet type thingo.

LOL BG - You're prob right!!!

wont be me. but by the sounds of crazy driver its probably you!

oh and girls not sure if this has come up before or not but in your labour bags have you thought of a bather top? if you plan on using a bath or shower.. might be more comfy than a bra or nude..

U too Shezi!!!

No hadn't thought of it - will pack a bikini top when I get home! Thanks babe!

ok i am really over having to go to the loo for the teeniest amount of wee! i have a feeling bub is starting to engage..

Hi girls

Well I didnt get a matress protector for ages. I just used cloth nappies underneath the matress!! It wasnt until DS got sick and spewed that I went out and bought one. Even still though the nappies did the trick as I was right there and got the sheets off straight away. I just put a cloth nappy in the bassinett too.

Got our capsule fitted yesterday :smiliedance: I want our bubba now.

Oh and my friend had a baby yesterday. She had emailed me at 3am saying she was getting pains and if I didnt get anymore emails I would know it was the real thing. As soon as I read it though I knew it was the real thing as it sounded just like how my contractions started. She was a few days overdue. She had a little girl Amara Georgia, very cute name. Weighing 7lb 6. She had her at 12.35 so I think that was great for a first labour! I went all night/day from those first niggly pains.

My bubs movements have slowed too.

we have mothers group today and then mums for dinner tonight as its my brothers birthday. A yummy roast.

Glad Lana is doing well. Her little man is cute.

Have a good day everyone.

Oh and we got webcam yesterday so am having fun setting it up. I cant believe I never thought of it before so Logan can see his grandparents that live in NSW. silly me.

Morning!

Home today yay I love Tuesdays! DH was stressing me out last night telling me that I am overdoing it and that I'm about to have ababy soon and I should be resting ect ect etc but it is sooo hard for me! I can't sit still, never have been able to unless I'm sick...always something to do. Now he has me all worried that I wont be able to cope with the labour because I'm doing too much ahhhhh. I told him to stop it as he was scaring me....

Mum2Ryan- we had a baby huntsman in the house yesterday too and I keep wondering where its mummy is  I agree animals are fine if they stay outside I will not hurt them but when they come inside that's my domain...especially cockroaches HATE THEM...I'm with SHEZI on that one!
DH told me from now on I have to scream BUG if I want him to get rid of something because he keeps thinking I'm screaming for him because I'm in labour....I said don't worry you'll know when I'm in labour:laughing: .

AD - goodluck with your appointment!

Carrie - Did you make it to work safely this morning??

LT- I keep saying I'm going to go pack but still haven't yet...must do it today! How are you feeling now? I get the numb hands/arms in bed too!

Emma-lucky you with Cooper sleeping...might have to get him to give my baby lessons when it comes out!

BG-love the cot! I am glad I went with white too.

Bambaloo
20-02-2007, 08:44 AM
Frangi - yes i made it to work this morning LOL!

BH's seemed to have slowed down / stopped now though so that's good!

Mattress protectors - we bought 1 for the bassinette but we haven't bought one for the cot yet - we have to measure the mattress yet! I figure we don't need it yet or for first couple of months as she'll be in the bassinette anyway. I have left the plastic on the cot mattress & just put a Pooh blanket over the top - It's hardly tucked in on the far side as can't bend over cos my big belly's in the way!

When I got home yesterday got DH to put my / her new toys in there - the mobile on the cot (although silly me forgot about batteries so we'll get some at shopping on the w/e or something and he'll have to take it off & put it up again) and set up & figured out how to use the nappy wrapper.

It looks all nice & finished now! Just waiting for the cane baskets for changetable from MIL.

Did anyone see my post last night about MIL and visiting the hospital? Do you think it's ok if I tell her that?

Carrie - tell your MIL whatever you want! should take my own advice though:laughing:

I just wouldn't call her until you're ready for her to come up...it all depends on what time you have the baby..

I really wish we didn't have to stress about our MIL's on top of everything else....mine wants to come and stay with us and her and I just dont get along ...I can handle her for a few hours but then it gets too much! My DH is her only child and she is single so he is her only focus... why can't people understand that you just want to be left alone with you, the baby and your Dp to figure out how to do it on your own! We want to set up our little family just the three of us...is that sooooo wrong? Sorry about the rant but I have been stressing about this al morning too!

Morning all.

Feeling like cr*p today. Sam fell out of bed at 11pm then wanted water at 12.30am then I had my 3-4 bathroom visits between then and 6.30am. Feel like Ive had no sleep at all.

Ok, had a quick skim of 6 pages to catch up on while Ive had a boy hanging off my leg.............

Firsttime, Low amniotic fluid - I believe a lot of women have this towards the end and for most its not an issue. From memory (dont quote me), its if you start loosing it and if baby's movements start feeling like sandpaper with friction that they start to get concerned. I dont know much about it though sorry.

As for induction, I was induced with Sam at 39+6. It was short and painful. Happy to give you any info you want about my experience if you want it

Also, with induction, you do not have to be confined to the bed. You can shower, you can wander, you can do pretty much anything you like (except bath). Unless they have concerns for baby there is no reason for you to be continually monitored. In fact, you dont have to be CTG monitored at all - they can do all this with a doppler. Ive been to several inductions in the past year and only one was confined to the bed and she had had an epi and couldn't move. Just bare in mind that inductions have high c/s rates (40% or something similar).

Epi's They certainly have their place and are a godsend for some....... but not so for others. If you have one where you are confined to the bed then you have a CTG attached and usually a blood pressure cuff that inflates every 5 minutes or so. Some women are catheterised, some aren't. Not sure why they aren't - guess they figure if you pee yourself you probably wont know. Not sure. Epis have a high c/s rate because you cant move and you cant feel anything. A lot of babies need the work of gravity and positioning to get into a favourable positioin for vaginal birth and with an epi, that isn't possible. Some Drs turn the epi down for pushing so you can feel the pushing. Some mums love this, others hate it because there isn't a high enough level of endorphins in the body and it causes a lot more pain. A lot of babies need forceps or vacuum extraction because mum cant feel the urge to push. Shezi, if you can get a walking epi then fantastic! You can still work with gravity with these and thats a major bonus.

Hmmm thats all I can remember.

My friend Nicole from work had her c/sec last night - baby boy (which we knew) 7.5 pounds. Both doing well just tender where the cut is.

3 sleeps to go! i am getting really nervous!!!
but so looking forward to my ribs feeling better LOL

mattress protectors - i got 'winkin blinkin' ones from baby on a budget, the bassinette size was about $8 and the one for the cot (which says single bed but the one that says cot is tiny) was about $14

my 3 best mates and i are having "mum club" today. two of the kids will be at school but there will still be five aged between 4 weeks and 3.5 years plus my belly :D i'm so happy we are all having/had children around the same time...

have a great day, everyone!

dont ya hate it when the little ones fall out of bed! must be the worst feeling for them too!

congratulations to your friends Taryn & Carrie. Amara Georgia is a gorgeous name!

great to hear lana & griffin are doing well. she must be liking it in hospital  hehe. well really whats not to like.. no cooking/cleaning/moving-if you dont want to haha. i wonder how often she'll make it on bubhub once she's home with 2 under 2!

LL - 3 sleeps - YAY, I am excited for you! I think for sure you are going to be march mummy no. 3! Hope the rest of your week is very relaxing and comfortable for you!

Had birth class last night, and walked away feeling very scared and sick - I nearly fainted twice in class! It might sound silly but I have never watch someone give birth before - so was in alot of shock. Don't think I can do it that's for sure, might be best for me to have a c/section! I am still feeling horrible this morning.

AD hope your appointment goes well for you today!

Carrie - congrats to your friend! That's probably what you were sensing! hehe. Re: MIL - I think you should say it as it is and tell her what you and your DH want, especially if DH agrees with you!

Tazzy - love the name, so so beautiful! Congrats to your friend too.

I am finishing work earlier now! Only by 2 days but it makes me feel so much better. So only 2 weeks of work, I finish up on Wednesday 7th March! YAY! And we move into our house on Friday 9th March, once the nursery is all together I will post pics, so excited after seeing everyone else's nurseries!

Okay - so now I've packed my bag the only thing I don't have is something comfy to labour in.... Last time with Ryan the hospital supplied a gown which I must say when it came to the crunch I ditched and went naked with just a sheet anyway :o - I was soooooo over heating I remember.

This hospital however has said to bring a large shirt or nightdress for labour.

What are you girls doing??? I don't have a nightdress nor any really big shirts that would act like a dress. Maybe I should go buy a cheepie from Big W?

Mum to Ryan - I bought a cheap $5 XL men's t-shirt from Lowes. I was planning on a hospy gown & they said I'd be more comfy at first in a t-shirt of my own.

Carrie, last night in B/Classes a lady mentioned that she has been experiencing pains down there, back aches and strong BH, the midwife said it is part of getting ready and some ppl get them and some don't. But if you are uncomfortable then maybe see if you can bring your appointment earlier.

MTR+1, I am opting to wear a gown supplied by the hospital, they recommend this. But if you were overheating last time, maybe see if you can get something cheap froom Big W

Hi Guys, SHEZI - with Tilly I got to the end and she never engaged and my blood presure started to go up so I paniced a bit and opted for an elective c/s. Looking back I kind of wished I had given it more of a go but due to the drama of Ruby I didnt want to go through that again so opted for the easy c/s.BLUEGIN - mattress protector I have a woolen one as I was worried about the breathability of the plastic ones. Its great and nothing has ever gone through to the mattress. They are a bit more expensive though you dont need to get it straight away as a few cloth nappies do just fine for the first few months as someone else (sorry forgotten who damm baby brain!!) said.

Also said she could move easily and it was nice and cool. Also she is a bit chesty so felt with a T-shirt she would still feel like wearing a bra and didnt want to feel constricted so the bra/singlet top was perfect.

Re: Clothes to labour in. I bought a cheapie t-shirt to labour in but the middie at the mater gave me a hospital gown and told me that I would be better off wearing that as it would be easier to take off etc if I wanted to. So thats what I did .. it was a really sext pale hospital blue smock that undid at the shoulders!! I'll contact the ob this afternoon if pains & BH's don't settle - they did for a bit though - but think as so stressed at work as that was when it started (except the bh's which started Sunday).

Maybe he'll give me a medical cert if I say it's when I'm stressed at work to cut back hours or finish up early as they are trying to get me to do everything before i leave plus I have to train a new girl next week ...

Carrie - yes I'm going to south bris.

LT - hope you get some relief from your hands & arms. Any idea what is causing it (apart from just being pg)?

BTW if anyone is going to be using those tommy tippee or sangenic nappy wrapper bins I have found the cheapest refills on the Pharmacy direct website. Only $13.95.

Hey girls,

Feeling a bit happier now. Took Sam out for a play at a friends and though Im tired, hes now in bed and I have 5 minutes to breath. Just one of those really p*ssed off for no reason days today Im afraid.

To make matters worse the dog down the road is STILL constantly barking and finally I got the council letter telling us their actions which is practically zilch. Its a "heres all the steps you can go through but we are making it as hard as possible as we dont really want to know" type process.

i'd love to hear about your induction anna. why were you induced to start with? oh and coz i was induced(didnt realise i couldve said no to constant monitoring..)i was stuck on the bed anyway.. not good.

dont ya hate it when the little ones fall out of bed! must be the worst feeling for them too!

Not really much to tell. It was before my doula days - in my student nurse days where everything you learnt was scary. My ob was very 'medical'. Very high intervention but I think last time I needed someone who was very hands on (not so this time). Basically he wanted to induce 7 days o/due and I was happy with this as I over the whole pregnancy thing and just wanted to meet my lad and knew nothing about inductions and the risks that came with them. Anyway, the hospital was fully booked for inductions up to that date and the only time they could fit me in was 39+6 so I took it. September is the busiest month of the year and they had record births that year.

The normal stuff happened, rocked up, signed papers, broke waters, inserted drip and it all started very very full on. Had a bad back labour and was up to the loo every couple of minutes with drip in tow. My midwives were not the most compassionate women in the world. They evenutally gave me gas - did nothing. Then peth - felt sick. The peth completely relaxed everything though as I went from 3cm - 10cm and pushed him down to crowning in half an hour. They were arranging an epi when I said I felt like I was pushing. I was told there is no way that would be the case but what do you know, his head was right there. Ob ran in with about a minute to spare and Sam was born.

So thats my induction story. Dont intend to be induced this time. 10 days o/due is my comfort zone and I cant see her lasting that long quite frankly. Think I'll be pushing it to make it to due date actually........plus Im in no hurry as I know the hell that comes after the baby is born this time. ;)

Shezi, you can say no to ANYTHING. Hospital policy or not, its your body and if you say 'no' then there is nothing anyone can do. Thats the law. Yes they try to get you to get onto the monitor because its easier for them but unless there is a medical reason for it, its not necessary as they can check intermittently with a doppler.

Isn't it awful when they fall out of bed? Sams got his cot mattress on the floor because I've just taken the guard rail off the bed but it must be an awful feeling for them to fall in their sleep. Poor darlin's.

What are you girls doing??? I don't have a nightdress nor any really big shirts that would act like a dress. Maybe I should go buy a cheepie from Big W?

I brought a short, light nighty and Im packing one of DH's baggy t'shirts that I sleep in at the moment. After having a shower I'll probably not want to put anything on but I figured I would labour in my own clothes this time. I didn't like the hospital gowns at all, felt strangled and hot.

Oh Sorry - just a little winge, caught a train yesterday while the car windscreen was getting replaced (long story). Got onto the train with a pram, a three year old and obviously preg and no one offered me a seat so had to stand holding onto pram with Tilly and Ruby's hand until our station!! I needed the blow up hammer like that lady on the commonwealth bank ad. Ha!! Normally I wouldnt care but was hot, tired and had just had to lug the pram up three flights of stairs as the lift wasnt working Arrgghh!

Im so glad I dont have to catch p.transport now. It came as a real shock last time how rude people are! I love the hammer ad. DH reckons he can see me doing that. LOL. Sorry to hear you had that experience. What ever happened to the days where pregnant women were nutured and pampered huh?

LL.

Your DP sounds sweet. Frog hasn't once said :take it easy.I stiill carry heavy groceries and do lots of physical stuff...

I just went and looked at a fantastic apartment. good view, HUGE and great condition with a pool at the building. Shame both bedroms looked over the train line. Grrrr!

Mine DH is like that too. He doesn't seem to notice Im 8.5mths pg.

Shame about the appt. When do you have to move? Its soon isn't it?

Carrie, hope the pains settle down.

Congrats on all the babies beign born to friends and such.

............oh drat, cant remember what else. Sorry this is a long post.

Nicole who just had the baby yesterday afternoon was all along getting a c/s however they waited til she went into labour naturally. Is that normal?

She may have requested it. Its not normal though unless the mother requests it.

Well back from mothers group.

Oh guess what happened to me....so embarrassing. I thought I would fuel up before mums group. Went in to pay and took DH's card as his wallet was sitting right there in the car. Anyway it declined, tried credit but same thing. Went back to the car and grabbed mine and same thing. OMG what do I do as I only had $20 cash on me and I knew there was money in there!! So I ask for the phone book and call the bank. Apparently as we ordered new credit cards and I haven't activated them yet as I forgot to do it yest then our old cards stopped. I was in tears to the lady. So I then had to phone my mum and get her to talk to the lady at the service station and pay for my fuel by credit over the phone. arrh so embarrassing. I wasn't in tears though at the service station just on the phone to the bank in my car. Thank god I had a nice lady serving me. So now I have to go to the bank tomoz to activate my card before I can use it. Its the worst feeling ever!! We dont own any other cards its all on the one so I had no other options. Arent mums the best

My friends bub at mums group was 6 days old and soooo tiny - gosh you forget how tiny they are when they are newborns.

I will post some pics of my labour is anyone wants a look. Just having trouble loggin on to photobucket so will do it shortly. Hope they dont scare anyone though :D

All about me this post, soz just cant remember the last 5 pages!!

Afternoon girls,

Had my appt this morning, Ob was running an hour behind schedule.. saw her and she said they prefer to do C/s at 38 weeks, to make sure bubs is strong enuf etc (different to what i was told last time).

Explaind C/s to me and that it is up to the Anethatist to decided whether im awake or not depending on risk..

No official date yet, apparently i have to now wait for Hospital pre addmissions/bookings to call me with a date and time and then i go and fill in forms. She did say it will be between 7th and 14th March (my 38th week) and all this is also different to what i was told last week.

Sooo anyway gotta see Dr last time next week , and in her words this will be your last appt and the following week you will have a baby.. so only 2 weeks left for me.

I just wish i had an actual date :banghead:

ETA: Forgot to say dandy hospital only does C/s on tuesdays (and she thinks fridays) so according to my calender i should be booked in for either 6th, 9th, or 13th March. If both tue and fri, if just tues that leaves the 6th 1 day prior to 38weeks or 13th 1 day prior to 39 weeks.

Hi everyone,
I'm finally back. Living in Qld now - took ages to find a rental and living with the in-laws was wearing thin. All ready for meeting bub - so very excited!
Haven't got the weeks and weeks it would take to catch up on all the previous posts so I'll just presume everyone is well until told otherwise.
I'm good - finding it harder to get around now, carpal tunnel has kicked in, my hips are sore and my feet bear a serious resemblance to balloons! But it's all bringing my baby closer so I try not to whinge to DH too much.
Well that's all from me,
Keep well!

Welcome back Mammy2be - glad you have found a place and things are going well - except the typical pregnancy probs!

AD - what a confusing appointment! Well I am confused - hehe. So basically bub will be here before 13th - that's great! I hope it all gets sorted and you can get some real dates to work with.

Tazzy, oh sounds like you sure did have a bad time, your mum is great to help you out! Hopefully the rest of the arvo gets better for you!

Anna, glad you are feeling a little better now!

Hi Guys, SHEZI - with Tilly I got to the end and she never engaged and my blood presure started to go up so I paniced a bit and opted for an elective c/s. Looking back I kind of wished I had given it more of a go but due to the drama of Ruby I didnt want to go through that again so opted for the easy c/s.
i definately dont think you picked the 'easy' way out. just curious if you would attempt one. i dont think i could if i had to have a c/s. even though the chances of anything going wrong is extremely small its still a worry.. oh and have you decided on a name?! :D

AD how frustrating that you're told something completely different this week! must be annoying about not having a date too but atleast you know by the 13th at the latest your little man will be in your arms :yelclap:

taryn i wouldve burst into tears if that happened to me hehe. i hate having to activate cards..

anna i hope you get the birth you want this time :) i just rang the hospital about the epidurals.. they said its pretty much the same as what i had last time with my girls.. you can get up and go to the toilet but thats about it.. you cant go walking the halls.. but the middie i talked to sounded lovely so im hoping for her! lol. she said definately go in the bath first(they have a huge spa bath with shower heads too to position on belly or back or both. its getting really exciting :D i would love to be able to go into labour naturally(might have to jog around the block if i hit due date lol) and then to have her with no drugs would just be bliss!!

i think M is trying to cut out her day sleeps.. i cant complain coz she is 3yrs4months(nearly) but its so annoying coz she asks to go to bed but then stuffs about.. as soon as she does cut out the day sleeps the 'dummy fairy' is coming to visit her. i didnt want to take them away from her before now coz i love that she's sleep for those 2 hours a day and its a comfort thing so i might have to wait till after bub is born. what do yous think?? i dont want to take away the dummys at bedtime and then go to hospital for a few nights.. doesnt seem fair.

mtr+1 thanx for the info re cheap refills for nappy bins. sounds great! will have to bookmark that site!

So forgot to say that I had normal clothes on in the first pic (that when we arrived at hospy). As you can see I'm still smiling :D

Then I had shorts and the crop top/bra thing on and then once I had my last internal and felt I needed to push I took off the shorts and just kept the crop top on. I am doing the same this time around. It was a bit messy but I didnt worry about it.

Thanks Shezi, this time is going to be VERY different. Older and wiser and all that. :o Wasn't a bad experience last time, just not a fantastic one iykwim.

Fantastic about the epi!!!!! I plan to start acupuncture if bubs isn't here by due date. Maybe you should give that a go this time?

Welcome back mammy2be.
