I just spent an hour and a half scrubbing the whole bathroom. it's spotless from ceiling to toilet.
I looked a site, face mask on, hot sweaty and naked. Lovely image I know. Might do the kitchen tomorrow... which will mean I wont have to get some underpaid cleaners in to do it for me.

oh YAY!!! Congrats to Emma and DH on the safe arrival of Cooper!! What a great size!
LL - I feel ya hun! I feel that same just minus the sore back.. Still feel really ill/queasy though and I have a horrible headache.
Taryn - How horrible about little Logan! :fingerscrossed: It works better with the butterfly clips on it... Kinda silly that they didnt do that in the beginning thought, especially for a little kid!
LT - How good!! Lol I wish i had the motivation to do that (dont think i would do it naked though, might scare someone!)

Thanks Lana, tell me about it - stupid doctor, obviously doesnt have kids!! Starting to feel a little emotional about it all now. I just cant believe it happened and he is going to be scarred. DH is not here so I think that is why I am emotional. I would hate DH to feel worse than he already does. Nothing we can do now. Just hope it heals well.
Yes isnt that a great size bub for 4 weeks early, Logan was 7lb 9 and that was 6 days overdue. Cant wait to see a pic of Cooper.

Lol ...Shezi - how exciting about M singing the whole alphabet! You must be proud!DH is still being a grumpy pooh today - he is gr8 with our neice but then he was grumpy at me again & I had to go to the toilet & cry ... too emotional but he hasn't been grumping at me after that. He's been out mowing & Lily has been so good I've been able to lay on the couch for a bit as she laid on her little pull out one I have and then sat up here with me. She's being so good but was calling out to DH while we were inside and he was out mowing lol. She calls him Dase instead of Dave. She calls me mama lol. She is so dying for the bubba to come. She knows the bubba's room and keeps wanting to see it.Hope u are all having a good day mummies.PS Devil wears prada - the book is better - I saw the movie ages ago and just been reading the book.Talk later!

Congratulations Emma, and welcome Cooper!!!
How exciting to have your little boy to hold, looking forward to hearing all about it. What a good size too. How are you feeling now?
I came on to post earlier but it seemed to vanish... Taryn, that sounded like a horrible ordeal for you all- good to hear the the cut is securely sealed now, and I'm sure he'll be very proud of that scar which is a funny thought!
Shezi, what a good memory M has, not long now till she a little school girl topping the class I'll bet!
Glad to hear so many of you have had successful appointments, looking forward to mine on Monday as I have decided to wait till then to ask about this stomach pain (wouldn't trust my idiot GP anyway so may as well wait). Had my first rubbish sleep because of it, woke up gasping from the pain straight after I went to bed, but it got a bit better after that, though I couldn't get comfy. LOL, poor DH, trying to be nice and make me cosy but there was no way he could poor fella.
Sorry, forgotten most of what I wrote this morning! Going to have a lie down, just in case I can't sleep again tonight

I read thru the posts but forget most of my replies ... Shezi - books & movies - I am especially disappointed in Harry Potter movies straight after u read the book as the books have so much more in them and you can understand the movie a lot better but other ppl who haven't read the books don't seem to like the movie and I bet it's cos the books explain everything - did that make sense?? Lol ...Lily has gone home. She was so good today. I've swept up & it's BOILING HOT here today so I'm gonna have a cold shower & try & have a sleep as have to go out tonight. Still haven't done groceries - they can wait. DH still in a grumpy mood :( Lol SIL asked me before what I was doing today & I honestly thought I was doing nothing - then mum texted me to tell me what time the movie is we're seeing! Lol ... totally slipped my mind!!!

AWW!!! Cooper is absolutely gorgeous!! I so cant wait til griffin is born now!!
Carrie - Glad you had a good time looking after Lily! The reason i have Elmo as my avatar is because Amity absolutely adores him! She goes to bed with her Elmo toy every night lol!
Gin - Hope you tummy pains subside soon.. I cant imagine that would feel very nice at all!
Anna - do you mean the electronic bassinet ones?? My SIL had one of those for her son and he loved it.. She also had a normal bassinet for night time though.
Sam slept in the lounge again last night and i must admit i had a heaps better nights sleep... Not too sure about him though lol!
Ok, TMI warning... Since yesterday morning i have been getting a yucky discharge that is a like a yellowish-greeny colour... Im not sure if it is normal or if i should ring the midwives and get it checked out just in case... What do you think?

Elmo - warning TMI - my discharge turned a little yellow and even light green on 2 occasions too, and i mentioned to the Ob and thats when she did a strep test which came back negative. It disappeared after that - havent had much discharge since.
If you call the midwifes can you let me know what they say - taa.
LOVE the photo of Cooper - he is beautiful, how exciting!

Im going to have to log onto the other pc to see him but Sam has just woken so it wont be now.
No, not electronic. Never heard of those. Went to BG though and there was nothing there that I wanted. The ones I liked were too bulky and too low and the others were similar to what I already have so I just gave the one I have a patch up and its not so bad I guess. Will do the job.
Re the discharge, the plug can be browny, yellowy, or pinkish but green and yellow and also indicate infection so perhaps give them a call and see what they say. Im pretty sure yellow is fine but green may need a looksee.
Ok, gotta go get my little man.

aww cooper is gorgeous!! :D
never seen or read anything harry potter so i cant comment there..
as for discharge i always thought greenish might mean thrush?? tmi but if you start getting itchy definately sounds like thats what it'd be. i remember i had discharge with a greenish tinge with M but no other symptoms and it went away.. dr still said probably thrush..
anna i know there is a cradle that you can buy that rocks.. im sure someone has one.. M2B maybe?? its a boori i think.. absolutely gorgeous! not cheap though..

Hmm i have had the same thing last 3 days? I thought was a bit of my plug?
Hey Ladies,
The pic of Cooper is so gorgeous! I texted Emma after she sent the pics and sent her a huge congratulations from us all! I can't believe the first bub is already here.
Lana, I would give the midwifes a call and ask them about the discharge just to be safe as green is infection. Hope it's all good!
My back is killing me today, just on the left side halfway up! What can I do? It's making me feel very ill!
Shezi, that is great that M is singing the alphabet - very cute!
Anna, yes Shezi is right I have the Boori Matlida Rocker which is just gorgeous, I did purchase a electronic bassinet from Toys r Us but returned it as I didn't feel it was very safe etc. Here is a link of the rocker/cradle I got from Babies Galore http://www.babiesgalore.com.au/view_product_new.php?productid=429&returnUrl2=%2Fshow_product_search.php%3Fsearchtype %3Dcategory%26categoryid%3D96

Hi Guys, Thanks for the advice on my toddler dilema!! Anna I also have a cradle that looks very similar to the Boori but is a different brand. I got it from Babies Galore a few years ago and love it love it. The only prob with it was that Ruby would unlock the rocker lock when Tilly was asleep in it so she could tip Tilly to the edge so she could touch and cuddle her through the bars!!! I couldnt work out for ages why the lock wasnt working properly and poor Tilly was squashed up against the bars LOL!! So if you get one make sure Sam doesnt see how you unlock it!!!

Oh I had a look at teh Boori and Matilda rockers. So beautiful!!! But as Im only wanting to use it for 3 months or until she starts sleeping decently through the night before putting her in her own bedroom and cot I figure the $300+ isn't really an option. If it was a long term sleeping arrangement Id be unpacking one now!

Annsam - check ebay I had a friend get one for next to nothing and it had hardly been used. She then just went and got a new mattress. I think she said it worked out to be less than half the price of buying one new and she resold it on ebay when she was finished for slightly more than what she paid for it!

Annsam - just had a quick search on ebay under baby cradle and found about 10 that were all sitting at the $50 price, so well worth a look if you are still interested in getting one.
R&T's Mum, I will have to remember the tip about the lock, well at least for next time! LOL! It sounds very cute though that Ruby wanted to cuddle Tilly!
Anna, it is a bit expensive but I am going to use it til she is about 6 months, as the kids bedrooms are at the other end of the house and for the other bubbas to follow - if any - hehehe
Lana, good idea to call them, hope it's all ok darl! Let us know!

Yes what a gorgeous little boy. Well done Emma!!
Lana not sure about the discharge thing....its a discharge not like water leaking or anything?? When I went into labour with Logan I had a very slow leak and it would only happen once I was sitting on the loo and TMI (relaxing down there - opening up). It was tinged yellow/green but still clearish liquid. I rang midwives and had to go in but I had been having contractions too (well very light back pain ones). Thats as much as I got with my waters breaking.... never noticed my waters at any other time during the labour. They thought it may have been hind waters. It was there everytime I went to the loo. So is it a creamy discharge or liquidy?
Had a nap with DS but he only slept for 1.5hrs!! :o I was so tired I couldve slept all day. I have a heap of little people all out for him now....wonder how long that will keep him occupied for :D
Better go and interact with my little man.
Oh and when he woke up he was holding his forehead saying ouchy ouchy. ohhh so cute, just love him so much. Its strange that you just dont realise how you can love someone so much instantly when they are born - well actually before they are born. Even with DH my love grew and I thought I loved him as much as I could but it definately bought us to a new level. cant wait for all of you first time mums to experience it. It is the most awsume and amazing feeling in the world being a mum, I love it... arrh here I am going all mushy. Better run :D
Oh Tazzystone, I hope your little man is doing better now! Forgot to mention it in my last post. I am hanginig out so badly for that feeling, I have heard alot of mums say that lately!

I'm back. My bedroom is so friggin HOT but I managed to fall straight asleep & stay asleep for just over an hour. I am still so tired but it is just way too hot in there. As I can't do paragraphs, even tho I put them in as I write this I will just address topics with CAPITALS ok? So I'm not yelling or anything...THRUSH - is usually more white - I had a fair few cases of thrush unfortunately for about 12 months as was on antiobiotics a lot.HARRY POTTER - it's good likeliness that they portray in the film and everything looks how you imagine etc but they just leave heaps out. I know they obviously can't put everything in as the movies would be WAY too long. Can't wait for next movie to be released!!! Not reading the book again til afterwards. Lol ... NEW BOOK IS OUT ON 21 JULY!!!OK will catch up on next page of posts now lol.C/S OR NATURAL - I remembered why the Ob asked me if I decided how I wanted to deliver the other day now - sorry if TMI but I was seeing a physio for a few months before preg cos basically it was too painful to use tampons or have sex - I had something called Vaginismus(sp?) so basically girls with this can stress towards the end of a pregnancy that they won't be able to birth naturally. And if they stress it doesn't work so the option of a c/s is there. I think I am fine though even though it was tempting to say c/s so I could meet her in a couple of weeks!
LANA - good luck at the hospital. Hope ur okay!LABOUR - I am so worried I'm not gonna recognise labour prop and rush to the hospital with the smallest back pain or something that's not even a contraction ... Unless I have a big gush when my waters break ... If they leak slowly into the toilet like someone else was saying just before (Tazzy?) I don't know if I'd recognise it ...DH is still in a grumpy mood. Just steering clear of him & letting him play his pS2 and watch tv etc so I don't annoy him. I had moved my footspa from the computer desk before Lil came over this morning and just filled it up to come back on as I could feel my feet would def swell today even after a few mins and I was carrying it the whole 5-6 steps from the laundrey sink and the cord got caught. He came over growling why didn't I just ask him to do it blah blah blah & I'm like do what, I'm fine! He said how am I gonna bend over and grabbed it off me. Then I felt like saying well if I can't bend why are you leaving the power cord on the ground for me to bend over and pick it up?! Why couldn't he have just said 'do u need a hand with that?' SO SO SO SICK OF HIM TODAY!!! MAN-O-PAUSE!!!
I was just reading another thread about telemarketers etc and I was telling them how I have stupid telemarketers ring the home phone (mainly Indians - sorry no offence) and ask for my mum or dad! Lol ... I say no I don't live with them & they say am I Mrs Spry (my maiden name so I was never MRS Spry) and I say Which one? (As in there are my grandmother and my mum known as this). Then I say I used to be Miss Spry & now Mrs B & they get all confused then just continue anyway & say am I with Telstra? I so no not interested and hang up. I HATE THEM!!! it is pretty funny they get confused when I say I don't live with my mum & dad - I sound really young on the phone. HAHA.

:smiliedance: Hugh Congratulations Emma on your beautiful little Cooper! :smiliedance:
I almost got teary seeing his beautiful little face in the photo. Kinda makes it seem so much more real for the rest of us now....
I was joking to the guy I was climbing with last night that if my waters break when I'm half way up a climb, it will bring a new meaning to a baby shower.
  LT - you crack me up!
Taryn - hope your little man is feeling better. Its horrible to see them in pain - you feel just so helpless.
I've been slowly getting bubs room ready today and have just taken all the piccies of my old Valco pram which I want to put on ebay so I can get a new Phil & Teds one. The Valco has been great but I don't like the toddler seat you can get for it and my two SILs both have the Phil & Teds with the toddler seat and it is great!
Anyway better get together and put my ad up...

That is so lovely! And wonderful to hear after a day of aches and pains too :o ;)
Emma, he is just beautiful! Amazing to think he is 4 weeks early!
Thank you lovelies for thinking of me, I am probably making way to big a deal of it, I'll bet the middy says "oh yes, just another standard pregnancy complaint!" and I'll realise everyone has it... LOL
Lana, :fingerscrossed: all is well with you, looking forward to your update.
Carrie, sorry to hear your DH is still crusty- they really know how to ruin a day off when they want to don't they!?!?! Grr, hopefully he will be back to normal tomorrow.
LT- you cracked me up with your cleaning "attire" (or lack thereof) tee hee, sounds great though having the hygienic scrub done, one less thing to worry about!
I have a very quiet little Bubble today... and the lumps and bumps seem oddly placed, I will be fascinated to find out what they all are at the appointment on Monday, I think it's just that as Bubble grows I can feel more detail, all very exciting!

Yaaaaawn Strrrreeeeeeeeetch, hehe just woke from a 3 hour er nap.. LOL if you can call it a nap for that long :D. Feel a lot more refreshed after my cleaning frenzy this am.
Carrie, telemarketers are the exact reason i dont answer private numbers. Ever since i had this one ****** (indian too, no offence) he was very aggressive, selling optus ****, i said no thanks politely and hung up, he had the cheek to call me back and say something along the lines of "listen lady how dare you hang up on me" so i said how dare you call back. Hung up again, and he called back! So this time i left the phone on the bench.. still with call connected. How dare they speak to me like that! Ever since then they can all get stuffed, i don't care what they are selling..
Antonio is not as active today as yesterday, poor little bugger must have worn himself out, on quiet days he moves just as i think about him, enough to reassure me he's ok.. very spooky!
Man the neighbours across the road from our house are p!ssing me off, not only does there front yard now look like a garbage disposal ,there kids are brats, the parents are just as obnoxious, and they are still playing the loud bassy music, that vibrates through our house, but we cant do anything about it, as it is within "legal" hours... i couldn't care less, as far as im concerned loud music, every day almost all day with that much base, is a friggen annoyance! STUPID COUNCIL LAWS. There as dodgy as hell too, with there shifty visitors, who i might add like to do burn outs and donuts in the street. TOSSERS!
:banghead: Any ideas to make em move?? :devil6:

Thanks girls re the bassinet suggestions. Im gonna have a squiz on Ebay.
Just an odd question, do any of you who have children sometimes catch yourself looking at them and suddenly wondering what you would do if anything happened to them? For some reason last night after DS went to bed I was looking at his little couch and started thinking about what life would be like if anything happened to him and was overcome by an overwhelming sense of loss or dread and just wanted to go and cuddle him and I can't shake the feeling today. Is that odd or is it a mummy thing?
Lana, glad you called the hospital. Let us know how you go.
Ok, need to pay my family some attention.
Night girls.

Ok girlies.. Here is an update on whats happening lol!
We went to the hospital and they looked at my panty liner and thought that by the colour of it it could possibly have been some meconium  and that maybe my waters had broken and it was just leaking out (They are reasonably certain it wasnt though in the end)... They checked my bloody pressure and temperature, all of which was fine.. Then they listened to Griffins heart beat which was a little fast so they put me on the CTG machine.
Apparently the normal heart rate is anywhere between 120 and 160 and anything above that is worrying... He was averaging about 167 and going up to 194 sometimes! They said to me that if his heart rate doesnt slow down that there was a possibility that i would be having him then by C/S!! Thankfully his heart rate slowed down to a healthier 148 to 153...
They also checked his position again and unfortunately he is still breech... His little head is tucked right behind my placenta which places them both under my right ribs and his back is along my right side... So now im back to worrying that if i go into labour it will be too fast...
Sorry for the me post... just wanted to say it all before i forgot!!
ETA: Anna - I too have the 'what if' thoughts.. i think its just a part of being a mummy and caring for your kiddies so much! I couldnt EVER imagine my life without Amity! (and griffin)

Wow Lana, glad Griffen is OK. How scary at the time though. Yes I wondered if it was your waters too. Have to keep and eye out. Do you have to go back for another monitor or anything?
Annsam I too have those thoughts and in fact only last night during all of the drama!! Its def part of being a mummy.
Our dogs got into a big fight with some other peoples dogs in our street!! It was terrible. We always let the dogs out the front and they stay on our turf but these dogs who we have always thought to be very scary just appeared out of now where. I quickly picked up DS and told DH who was cleaning his boat. And then our dogs go into them. To start with it was 2 on 2 but one of the neighbours dogs took off so it left our 2 of one of theirs and we couldnt stop it. The neighbour came running over and Luke had to call another neighbour so they could each pull a dog off. Anyway eventually they came off and the neigbours dog was bleeding but it was there fault and he apologised as he left their gate open. They are not friendly dogs like ours are, very nasty looking. Just 10min prior another neighbours dog came over too and our dogs were fine with that it was just these mean looking ones. Thank god they didnt go for me or Logan!! They never walk them or anything like we do ours. I think they are a bad breed. Oh well, we shouldnt really have ours out there either but we never leave them unattended out there.
Anyway off to have a shower and then a foot spa!!

Annsam, im not sure if they are renting, and i dont have the guts to ask, scary ppl. Im going to try and find out though, not sure how but i will. :devil6:. Then if they are renting the R.E will be getting a big complaint. If owners then i think im going to have to start keeping a log of times, how loud the music is, the cars that come and go and are hoons, the **** in the front yard (there is so much of it, i believe its a health hazzard, especially with kids there) etc etc and the send this off to the council and make a huge complaint.
Im not normally one to complain about neighbours, but these ones take the cake.. or maybe im turning into a grumpy old woman LOL.
Off to paint my nails, and maybe have a bath.

Glad you got it checked out Lana. Bit scary huh? Keep an eye on it and dont hesitate to go back if anything happens.
The whole going into labour and it happening fast thing....... just thinking :detective: ....... is it really an issue this time do you think? I mean its not like you are going to sit at home while having early contractions and with the position hes in hes not going anywhere and if he does then thats the desireable end result anyway right? Id think you'd be there at first contractions and he'd be out before you knew it. Plus dillation wouldn't be as effective if theres no boney head hitting the pelvic floor. What have the docs said? Do they think its an issue? Thats just my logic at work - no idea if its right or wrong.
Thanks girls for the reasurance that Im not nuts thinking about awful things happening to my child. :o
Taryn, sorry to hear about the dog incident. Boy you aren't having a great couple of days are you. :hugs:
AD, no harm in keeping a record and lodging a complaint. Not sure what the Melb rules are but I believe there is a limit in Sydney of what is and is not acceptable during daylight hours too. Dont quote me on that though, just recall seeing a council man outside the barking dogs house the other day (when it wasn't barking of course) so if they check out complaints during the day then it stands to reason that its not just night noise????
Ok, off to bed soon. Night girls.

hey by the way did they do a test on the discharge? i know when i thought my waters might have broken they put a long thingy that looked like an oversized ear bud over the area to check and it supposedly turns a certain colour if its your waters..
whens your next appt? do they want to see you more often to keep an eye on his heartbeat?
anna yes i have to shut out those thoughts too.. makes me sick to my stomach :(

Wow Lana, glad Griffin is OK. How scary at the time though. Yes I wondered if it was your waters too. Have to keep and eye out. Do you have to go back for another monitor or anything?
No dont have to go back to be monitored but they asked me to check my temperature 4 times a day and if it gets above 37.4 to go back in.. Also obviously to go in if i start contractions or my waters break etc...
Glad you got it checked out Lana. Bit scary huh? Keep an eye on it and dont hesitate to go back if anything happens.
The whole going into labour and it happening fast thing....... just thinking :detective: ....... is it really an issue this time do you think?
Thanks Anna! Yep it was very scary! Sam was petrified! He said " OMG! I didnt expect to come in here and have a baby TODAY!"
Im not sure whether it would be an issue or not actually.. guess i will wait and see what the Ob says at my next appt on Wednesday! I think im just being a bit paranoid...
ETA: Shezi - Thanks hun! Yep they did the test on on me but it didnt come up with anything as nothing was leaking.. (it mainly leaks when im walking around). My next appt is Wednesday so hopefully he is ok and stays calm until then. I was worried about what would happen if his heart rate gets to fast and he gets stressed, how would i know!?
Lana, so glad you got everything checked out. Would have been very scary for you, hope you and Griffin are resting now! :hugs: Glad things are ok for you! Think you may be our next March Mummy to have their bub.
Shezi, very true there is going to be heaps of posts to read through - especially for the mums who pop early - I will have to fax the posts through to the hospitals for you all - hehehe
Tazzy, that's awful about the dogs fighting at least no one was hurt in it all - hope you enjoy the rest of your night - you have had an eventful last few days!

Lana, so glad to hear you and Griffin are A-OK! I'm sure if they were worried about his heart rate going up again they would have mentioned it... but maybe give them a call to ask, just so it's not playing on your mind?
Taryn- Gosh it's frustrating dealing with other people's nasty dogs! I've got a really lovely sociable dog, big, but not an aggressive bone in his body, and I just hate it at the park when the meany dogs arrive and start harassing him! The owners usually just pretend they can't see and wait for me to leave  Very annoying, but kind of funny seeing these smallish dogs trying to pick a fight with my monster! Ha ha, he just licks them :p
AD-the noise log sounds like a good idea, one of my local police men told me to do that if I had continued neighbour trouble, said it's easier for them to deal with then.
Shezi, maybe you'll be nice and give me a summary of posts when I get back hey? Nudge nudge :D ;)

bluegin i'll do my best to summarise it for ya :D thats actually a really good idea coz once march comes around i think there will be a burst of bubs being born in the same week. once emma's back she gets to start a new thread too! the birth and details one hehe! i cant wait!

i saw on the news earlier that this is the chinese year of the pig..(realisation sets in that thats probably why we're having the march piggies :o  ) ANYWAY enough about me lol.. they reckon theres going to be a huge increase in births this year.. something about it hasnt come around for 60years.. im taking this as a good thing anyway hehe.

Shezi, did you start a thread for March babies born? I guess if we do that that will be easier to catch up on that 20+ pages of goss.
For the most I think Im more comfortable than most of you at the moment. Im have a wee bit of trouble sleeping but nothing major. Have to turn the fan on about 1am most mornings cause my feet get uncomfortable (love my body pillow otherwise it would be a different story) but I did have trouble last night I must admit.
What is it with men? Im 36 weeks today and officially 1 month exactly till due date and DH who assured me we would have all the painting done by 1 February wants to move all the cr*p from the spare room into the babys room so he can paint it AFTER doing the hallway. Now, my train of thought is why dont we just put the cr*p away or throw it if we haven't used it forever and surely the spare room where Mums going to stay is of higher importance to get ready than the hallway????? Starting to get irritable and panicky as I can see me spending these last 4 weeks painting. Ok vent over.
Re the aquarius / piceses thing - a friend of mine did my tarow cards (sp?) the other day and it said I had a bit picese (sp?) event coming up so :fingerscrossed: she does stay put a while longer.
Have a great day girls.

Firsttime, I'm hoping that once our bubs start engaging there is less groin pain when rolling... ha! A girl can dream...
Lana, hope you got some sleep, it doesn't sound like you're very comfortable at the moment. Hopefully you'll wake up refreshed a bit.
Shezi, I'll try to go in to labour early to race you OK? LOL, and to get my pelvis back! Apparently it is a really good thing to have a Piggy child, and I hope mine comes in Pisces- that way it would be the same as my Mum! A fire sign fishy pig! Interesting about there being more births, will that mean massive class sizes... or new schools!
I am year of the monkey, which I've always liked, missed out on having a monkey baby though, couldn't convince DH in time! lol
Pretty uncomfy when I got to bed last night- by making my tummy comfortable (someone mentioned the baby doing a major shift when they roll? I hate that feeling!) I would hurt my pelvis. Finally got them both aligned and my feet starting aching  he he, but I did get to sleep, and it wasn't too bad (no toilet run, yay!) and DH has today off (double yay!!) so he left me sleeping till 10am, bliss. I just love being woken up by him coming back to hug and kiss me on his days off, a very gentle start to the day *sigh*
Have a great Sunday maties,

m2r+1 maybe you can help me out.. chris likes the phil n teds e3 but i think they might be unstable with two toddlers if they were to both rock the pram.. has your sisters ever mentioned this prob?
we're just debating whether to buy another pram or not.. we have the twin mountain buggy which i absolutely adore but chris is thinking of a smaller one(and lighter hehe) in the boot..
No - my SILs haven't mentioned it being unstable at all. The best thing i find about it is that the toddler seat doesn't sit any higher than the normal seat - ie when you have a bub the normal seat lies down flat and the toddler seat sits in on top but in the same position as the normal seat. When they both are at sitting stage the toddler seat actually slots in underneath the normal seat so keeps the centre of gravity very low. ONe SIL is still using it with a 4yo on top and a 2yo on bottom. It is getting very close to max weight and the 2yo is a little cramped in the back/bottom seat but with her other two now at school (grade 1 & 2) she is still using it to help out with school drop offs.

This morning I woke up with bad AF type pains just above my bladder, they lasted for about half an hour and got worse. I took some panadol and it went away. Also had a very sharp pain under my ribs on the right, a tightening pain but it went away after 10 minutes.

Lana - I hope your feeling better after your trip to the hospy. Hope Griffin stays put for u. Just think positive about the possible c/s as you'll get to meet your bub.
M2B- I also have the ryco bag.
Tazzy - hope your DS is feeling better today and his head isn't hurting too much!
Sorry that is all I can remember! My weekend away was ok, it was great to catch up with one of the girls but the other just drove me nuts! She psychic and I have told her not to talk about my baby but she deliberately kept calling it a "he" all weekend and it really annoyed me. DH and I both think it will be a boy, we haven't even chosen a girls name but I just found it really annoying.
Baby is sitting up so high at the moment I think it will poke out the top! I guess that means I still have a bit of a wait until it's born...
Not much else to add except it's good to be home and I really missed my DH so am feeling really sooky with him...Valentine
Have a good night!

Welcome back Frangi! Yep, can't leave these pages alone for a minute without someone popping out a baby! :p
Shezi, I think you're right about the Bubble, methinks it's blue! I've just found the cable to connect the video player, and taken a photo of the ultrasound and started a thread with a poll for people to guess the sex! he he, couldn't help myself :o

Man you girls chat a lot!
I just woke up from a 4 hour nanna nap! Actually, we all had one.. we put Amity down for a sleep at 12.15pm and then we went and laid down for a while.. Sam is still asleep and Amity has just woken now...
LL - Your nursery looks great!! I love your quilt set!
Shezi - I hope you are feeling a bit better soon. I know how you feel!
Frangi - Welcome back lol! I would imagine there would have been heaps to catch up on... Sorry to hear that your friends ignored your request NOT to know what she thinks you are having.. very annoying indeed.
LT - Lol! My mum and stepdad are Rats too.. but the one before you! Hehe.
Well i think i mite go freshen up a bit... Really been trying not to worry about Griffin... It is hard thought, especially because i have now way of knowing if his heart rate is up again....

:hugs: Lana, when is your next appointment? It seems nutty of them to go and tell you something like that, where you're now stuck worrying about it. Sounds like a great nap, I might head off for one in a bit, tried earlier but it was a bit hot... cool change is really nice though

Hey Gin. My next appt isnt until Wednesday at 12pm... That seems like its forever away! I know that if i stress too much that it can cause his heart rate to go up... But how am i meant to stay 'calm and relaxed' knowing how high it was!?
Also, where is this thread you created about guessing Bubbles sex?? I have looked but cant find it lol!

elmo - if you are really stressed, go and get Griffins heartbeat checked again, if it will put your mind at ease.
I dont worry about the hospital or doctors thinking i am over paranoid, it's my body and my baby.
I've got a heart rate monitor for baby at home, and have had it for around 6months. I dont think the actual heart rate is accurate - it always seems lower than when i am at Dr's, but i like to check it inbetween appointments just to see if i can hear it (i know - PARANOID!).
But, at least Wednesday will come around fairly quickly, it's not too far away.....

OMG! 6 PAGES of posts to catch up on!!! Took me nearly half hour to read them all! I even made DH get me a pen & paper to jot down notes to reply to etc cos I'd forget & my multi-quote doesn't work on my home computer. He thought it was pretty funny.Had mum's candle party last night & got some yummy smelling tealights. Anyhoo you know how I said DH was so grumpy the last couple of days? We hadn't done groceries so yesterday arvo I said did he wanna get takeaway on way to mum's and he agreed then when I came out & said I was ready when he is and he says 'what about dinner' and kept saying he never agreed to takeaway & he's sick of eating ****. We haven't even been eating **** so he's being a pain. Dad was going over a friend's house whose wife was coming to mum's candle party so Dave went with him to watch a dvd. Today I went with my mum & sister to see Miss Potter & then they dropped me home as wanted to see the nursery. DH was in a better mood then we did groceries this afternoon - maybe the way to a man's heart is through his stomach after all?? Then he was in a better mood cos those Forever Sharp ppl did a demo while he was in line (I'd wandered outside Woollies to sit as since she has been partly engaged it's so uncomfortable) and they were giving out free pearing knives & we'd lost ours so he sent me to get one of them which made him even happier (he luvs his knives etc - he was a chef btw not a serial killer LOL).Weird - when I was catching up on posts since my last one I had done 2 separate ones - the telemarketing bit was separate but it seemed to be all as one post today when I went (OMG I THOUGHT I LOST ALL THIS - I PRESSED SOMETHING BUT WHEN I WENT 'BACK' IT WAS STILL HERE!!! LL-that nursery is awesome! Just love the teddy bear, very clever Grandma there. Beautiful quilt, do you mind me asking where it is from?
we got it from the babies and childrens expo but its from the Kidsline range which is in most baby shops over here. i loved it straight away and we bought it before we knew we were having a boy, figured it can go either way. the quilt came with a thermal blanket, sheets and then the pillowcase and bumper which bub won't be using.
I need to get a pram bassinette stand, so I can put it in my room during the day for toadlet to sleep in. I'm leaving the wheel section of the pram downstairs.
Do you know anywhere that has one of these and how much?
i saw one in a baby shop for about $99, i think it was a valco brand?

LL love your nursery! The Doona is gorgeous! Did you make that??
Elmo i too had a nanna nap before, 3 hours LOL, why is it i can sleep during the afternoon but not when i go to bed at night, how stupid! Maybe its coz im so tired..
Well i did it, i finally packed mine and bubs hospital bags, everything for Antonio fits in his nappy bag, and i have just a couple of things to get to put in my bag. But im 98% packed :smiliedance:.
All we need to do now is put the seat in the car.
I cant remember everything i just read :o.
Has anyone else packed a "going home" outfit for bubs? Or am i crazy lol.
Its so cute though, Top and Pants, mittens, hat and cardigan all part of a set. :D
Oh and Target have these bunny rugs, with the brand Minko... very soft and nice, there cotton, and stretchy. Came in a 3 pack, they have girls colours and boys, i highly recommend them. The minko face washers are also in a 6 pack and just as soft.
It all seems to be getting so real now.. to think in a few weeks time, i will be bringing home my little man. Wow~!
CarrieB : 'AD: U can do a search on RP Data re the owners of that house which I can do using work login but I just realised I'd have to pay cos you are down south and not local.'
So i can do this down here for free? If i can that would be awesome! Or is that a work thing?
Will re-read posts and cover anything i missed, must run and serve dinner.

a bunch of our friends have filled in little cards with our baby's weight, length, date and time (everyone knows he is a he) so we will get a prize for whoever is closest. DH and i filled one in too.

Back from the hospital AGAIN :banghead:
DS's ankle started to swell last night and we thought he had sprained it in the accident but this morning he had two little bites on there. Anyway all day we kept an eye on it and then in 1 hour the bites blistered and started to weep so we went to the hospital and he is now on antibiotics for a spider bite!! Can you believe our luck. What a ****ty weekend. We have to then see our GP tomoz. Poor little guy is having a terrible time. Next time I see that hospital I want to be having our baby!!

Taryn - How terrible for poor little Logan! I sure hope he is feeling better soon! And understand your want to NOT have to go back to the hospital unless its for a baby lol!
LL - What a great idea re guessing bubs weight etc... I am doing a similar thing at my baby shower lol!
Firsttime - I am tempted to ring the hospital and tell them that i am concerned and ask them how i am meant to know if his heart rate goes up again and if it does and i dont know what will happen... I havent really been overly worried this pregnancy, just letting it go with the flow, but this has me rather concerned.
Carrie - Im glad things are starting to look up a bit with you and DH... The last few weeks of pregnancy can be very trying on you and make you rather emotional... Well, it is for me anyway!
I just finished vacuuming the car! Amity and her little boyfriend were eating crackers in it the other day so needless to say it was full of crumbs lol! At least it is all clean again now and ready for me to put Griffins car seat in!
My tummy is really tight and sore today and i still feel really ill... Its sort of a catch 22 at the moment, if i dont eat i feel ill, but if i do eat i still feel ill!

How many ankles does Logan have??? LOL, sorry, couldn't resist teasing :o... I hope he is doing alright Taryn, what a nasty weekend for him! And you two as well, nice to know that the one inside you is nice and safe!
Lana, here's the link http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=68427
I'd definitely be calling the hospy, I'm sure they wont mind. Sorry to hear you're feeling ill, not a great end to the weekend.
Big sook coming up: I went to the nearby supermarket earlier to get some things for an easy dinner (feeling lazy) and this included a BBQ chicken... got home, all ready to make it up and sit to watch Biggest Loser and I realised I'd left the chicken behind! I called and they said it was there, so jumped in the car... they'd sold it!
I was so upset, got my refund and walked out sobbing like anything, and drove to the further supermarket, where I stood waiting for help for 20 minutes!!! By the time I got home (sobbing again :o) Biggest Loser was nearly over. Boy did I take it hard, lol, you'd think they'd sold the baby out from under me the way I carried on

As I was driving along, with the tears rolling, I was wishing the others drivers could see me stomach so I didn't look like such a lunatic :o... I got to see most of the blue team's weigh in, why wasn't Damien's weight included? I love that show, especially because of guys like him who are really in danger health wise and get so much out of it.
oooh, while I was typing I just got a kind of period pain :D :smiliedance: that's like my first "thing" that has happened! lol, yeah, extreme crying to extreme excitedness over little pains... I'm glad you all understand me!

Bluegin - totally understand you!
They didnt include Damien because the blue team has one extra team member cos that blonde girl left the red team during the week, and red got to choose who's weight isnt included, so they chose the biggest guy from the blue team not to be included.
It's still on, so not sure who won yet, don't tell me!

AD - Hehehe I have packed a going home outfit too lol! and something for him to wear each day lol! Im the same as Shezi, i prefer my bubs to be in their own clothes that I provide for them!
Yep i watched the Biggest Loser too! I love seeing the way they manage to transform themselves... Such a sense of achievement for them plus it is much needed due to the severe health problems they could develop!
I think i will ring the hospital tomorrow morning... Not much point now because if they said to come in i wouldnt be able to because Amity is in bed.
At least tomorrow Sam has the day off work which will be really nice and he can help me with Amity etc and maybe even come with me if i need to go to the hospital at all.
My tummy is making me so damn uncomfortable tonight! It is really tight (lots of BH). plus the sick feeling... Aaaagggghhhh!! :banghead: I just want to feel well again lol!

I keep imagining as I get closer to my due date I'll want to stick fairly close to home. I don't know when that will be though. I guess it'll be when I don't have the energy to leave the house!!
Isn't emmas bub just beautiful.
I need to stop using the net during my sleepless nites coz i find lots of goodies I get tempted to buy for bubs. Have resisted lately though.

I think i will ring the hospital tomorrow morning... Not much point now because if they said to come in i wouldnt be able to because Amity is in bed.
My tummy is making me so damn uncomfortable tonight! It is really tight (lots of BH). plus the sick feeling... Aaaagggghhhh!! :banghead: I just want to feel well again lol!
Good luck, looking forward to hearing what they say, it sounds horrid being so sick. If you did need the C/S (I still think he's teasing you and will spin :p) how far away is that?
Anna, cool hearing you say "4 weeks left", as that's me on Wednesday... wow.
LT, ha ha, yeah, couldn't resist! Have fun at the ultrasound! Hopefully Toadlet will let you have a look at their face today!
I have my ob appointment today at 3, then have to hang around the city till 7 for birth class ... I wouldn't usually mind, but all I want to do these days in the afternoon is sleep! No idea how to keep myself entertained.

goodluck at the drs LT & logan!!
D woke at 7.15 so i atleast got a nice sleep.. neither girl had me up last night.. still didnt get into bed till 4.30  i fell asleep on the lounge around midnight i guess.. so i guess thats not a nice sleep is it?! hehe oh well better than nothing!
D just had breaky.. shes a little piggy.. i have no idea where all the food goes that she eats! she ate a whole banana and it was pretty big & a bowl full of grapes.. and looks like she's heading for the cupboard coz i usually have cheerios and she'll eat anywhere upto half of mine! and she's tiny! i wish i had her metabolism hehe
bluegin yep i feel like i have morning sickness all over again.. literally wake up feeling like im 6weeks preg and going to throw up.. weird hey. i've never had this feeling while this far preg with M or D. oh and as for entertaining yourself till 7.. go shopping!! :D
AD you need to slacken off a bit more haha. i couldnt live without my dishwasher!! i've only had it for a few months.. chris didnt want me to get one he said we already had one! aka me!!(he hasnt done the dishes once since we've moved in and i think he's put one plate in the dishwasher.. he claims to never know if the dishes in it are dirty or clean - i empty the d/w within half hour of it finishing so he knows!) needless to say i bought one the next week! he'll learn one day!
my next appt is friday and i'll have 2weeks to go on thursday!!

Ahhhhh Im loving this rain. :yelclap: Its so nice to be at home with teh windows open, hearing the rain and no one else here!!!! Doesn't happen often let me assure you. Supposed to be painting doors but think I'll go have a nap and catch up on those hours I missed thorugh the last couple of nights.
Have fun at your appts today girls. Let us know how you go.
Best of luck Lana with the hospital.
Love the biggest looser too. Its the only reality TV show I can stomach.

2 weeks?!?!? But, that's too soon! I'm not ready for people to actually reach their EDDs! lol, an early CS I can handle, but a reached EDD just seems far to "real" to me :o
I guess D needs all that energy from her food, as it doesn't sound like she gets it from sleep! lol
Totally jealous about the dishwasher, I was going to get one, but now I have that stupid fine to pay instead (which is actually more expensive than the dishwasher ). Ah well, maybe next baby, if they're still doing the baby bonus! I need some big hit of money like that to do any spending without feeling guilty... silly, but I'm just not a spender.
Shopping hey? I wish! Nah, all spare cash is assigned pretty much until the baby is born, though I may be able to grab a couple of wondersuits... he he, now THAT sounds like fun!
*EDIT: Anna, that sounds like lovely weather, I'm jealous! Hope the panadol work fast

im with ya there BG! im not ready to reach my due date either.. thankfully still 2&1/2weeks to go.
ok this is cr@p! chris took the car to work so we're stuck at home.. im broke anyway so we werent going to be going out but its nice to have the option! hopefully my car is fixed wednesday.. chris's parents are paying for it! crazy hey. its gonna be like a $1000 for the clutch. chris said we'd pay them back but they dont want it.
weird thing is if it was my parents i would be paying them back asap whether they wanted it or not! i guess i just leave chris's family to chris..
oh well this is giving me a taste of what its like to have only one car.. im thinking of selling the station wagon anyway and paying out the rest of the loan coz its in my name and theres still $5000 owing.. im just sick of having so many loans.. its really annoying me.. chris is on good money but so much is gone on loans.. i'd rather buy a house than have two cars, motorbike, and god knows what else! but no boys and their flippin toys!

another **** sleep... such bad reflux/heartburn, it is def the worst thing about pregnancy to me! the liquid mylanta ran out at bedtime so i was on the tablets during the night which made me all thirsty and chalky. OVER IT!!!!
but there are only 11 sleeps til the proposed c/s date and about 20 til his real due date so i just have to put up with it a little while longer. had a couple of cries to DH yesterday, i just felt so sick and in pain.
going to see little Isabel soon, she is nearly 3 weeks already! our bubs were meant to be 6 weeks apart but she was a few days late and ours will be early from the looks of things so they will only be 4 weeks apart.
hope you all have a good day and the appointments go well.
WOW, can't believe how close it is now - LL 11 sleeps seems like nothing at all, I bet you can't wait especially with all the sleepless nights etc. Shezi, 2 weeks is also nothing, I am so excited for all you girls - not far at all!
Lana, how are you going this morning? Hope things are ok for you!
Tazzy, what a horrible weekend you have had, hope the week improves for you!
I had a nice day yesterday, drove down the coast and checked out the progress on our house - it's looking really good now. We also went out for a nice lunch and went to the movies and saw Hannibal Rising - yuckie movie, DH loved it!
5 minutes of fame - DH's boat shed is been used for the filming of Fools Gold that is been filmed in QLD with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. DH has been meeting with Warner Bros about it all and forgot to mention it to me until we drove down to the coast yesterday......Men!
I can't remember anything else....will be back when I read through the posts again!

Thanks! Im not too sure when they would book me in.. Im guessing probably around the same time as LL, so maybe just over a week!
Shezi - I hear you about having too many loans lol... thankfully we have just sorted out car loans out into one.
M2B - Thanks! Im still feeling pretty ill and hardly slept a wink last night. The hospital said to keep and eye on my temperature... it keeps varying and i seem to be getting hot flushes which isnt nice... The highest it went to was about 36.6 though so that ok.
LL - I cant believe how close it is getting!! Actually kinda scary to think it lol!
Anna + Firsttime - I really hope you girls manage to get some more sleep... I know how frustrating and tiring it is not getting any!

No fair AD! You're due a week behind me, but you'll probably be holding your little one 2 weeks ahead! ;)
M2B, that sounds like a lovely day! And how typically male for your DH to forget to tell you for so long!
Lana, a week just doesn't sound like long at all... glad to hear that the hospy seems most concerned with temps, as you can control that. :hugs: I'm sure he is fine, but thinking of you with the sickness, not fun at all!
I am about to head to the tram to go to my appointment, a bit conerned as I started feeling sick about 30 minutes ago, and now dizzy. Heart rate at 124, so not too extreme, but not looking forward to the walk in the sun! Ah well, I'm sure I will be totally fine, and worst case scenario, I'll sit down on a neighbours fence and call a cab
Chat to you all tonight after class,

Hi girls, you all sound so excited about your babies now.
Annsam.. lovely rain isn't it.. bucketing down. Shame they don't have storm warter harvesting, such a waste.
Just had my ultrasound and toadlet is perfectly normal!! Bang on average for weight etc. Approximately 6lb 9 oz at the moment. I predicted it's birthweight would be 7 lb 2 oz so I might be close.
Cervix is still long and closed so there wont be any action this week thank god.
And toadlet has teeny bit of hair! I was bald when I was born till I was 1 and DP has lots of hair . I want a bald baby. So weird to think about things like toadlet having hair.
The bad news.... I've put on 15kg!! EEEEEKKK. I'm certain a lot of that is fluid retention. My arms are similar size to when I first fell pregnant but my calfs and feet are twice the size, full of flluid. I look like an elephant.
Those with numb hands, when you sleep or are resting, my Dad said to have your wrists elevated, as if you were holding your computer mouse. I tried it and it helped within 10 minutes.
My fingers are too fat to wear my ring now, I told Frog I'm going to have to start wearing it round my neck. His reply "Don't be silly, if it doesn't fit around yoru finger there's no way it's going to fit around your neck!"
I'm going to put stickers up on the wall, perhaps little frog stickers with numbers on them from 1 - 21, on thursday when I have three weeks left we can take one away each day, a bit like an Advent calender.

 That is so funny LT! Your DP has a great sense of humor. Great idea with the stickers too - sounds like fun! Great news that toadlet is normal and everything is going very well!
B/G, hope you can make it to your appointment, might be best to call a cab before you leave. Hope your appointment goes well too!
To make everyone feel better and not freak out - I still have 6 weeks and 4 days to go! ages and ages away.......heaps of time girls!

LOL thats so funny LT. Glad to hear all went well. Damn those devil scales.
Im so not ready for this baby. With Sam I was organised before 30 weeks and sitting here tapping my fingers bored out of my little brain for the past few weeks longing for my body back and my baby in my arms.
This time Ive hardly had time to catch my breath (well, probably a good thing considering Im a bit short on it), I haven't even considered how nice it will be to have my body back (until last night that is) and the reality that Im going to be in labour within 1 MONTH and that there is a baby at the end of it is just a little too frightening. Happy to watch others go through it - the reality of it happening to me is just too sureal right now.:o
I know one day Im just going to go into labour, have a baby then be left wondering where the heck that came from?!

Bluefgin, I have emailed my Dad your photo and have asked him to check out if it is a boy. Also to see if the bits you are looking at are the bits you think they are.
I'm convinced it's a boy.

Afternoon Girls!
I hear ya about the sleep now - last night was so bad. I'm usually not having as much trouble as you girls, maybe work helps make me more exhausted? It took me so long to go to sleep last night. My back was killing & I felt sick and I still feel sick this morning - I even :barf: but it was just like acid stuff … (sorry if TMI!!!) …
I had a go at Lazy Girl this morning - we were in the photocopier room getting printing & she had grabbed the printing off the printer and was going through it on the table with me standing next to her as 3 of the 4 things were my letters and her stuff wasn't there and she turned around and stuck them on the bench with our trays on them for printing but didn't even put them in my tray or whatever and went back to the printer. I said to her 'Thanks for my letters Krystal, appreciate it hey' (sarcasm …) and she gave me a dirty look and said 'No worries' … Only 2 days left with her & I told David & Amy to make her really exta busy on Wed as it's her last day & I'm not here Lol ...
I was so stupid this morning - I was all excited as work said there is more room in car park now as they've kicked the 2 guys leasing parks who are from another company out as the building will be torn down soon so I can drive in for my last couple of weeks. I was so excited & texted DH. He kindly reminded me that yesterday I couldn't even fit behind the wheel comfortably and haven't been able to for quite a while (I have an older car so I can't lift or lower steering wheel or seat etc like new cars and cos I am so short I need the seat all the way forward to reach the clutch etc!) Lol I felt so stupid!!! Hahaha Gotta laugh! :D
Well i did it, i finally packed mine and bubs hospital bags, everything for Antonio fits in his nappy bag, and i have just a couple of things to get to put in my bag. But im 98% packed
All we need to do now is put the seat in the car.
Has anyone else packed a "going home" outfit for bubs? Or am i crazy lol.
Oh and Target have these bunny rugs, with the brand Minko... very soft and nice, there cotton, and stretchy. Came in a 3 pack, they have girls colours and boys, i highly recommend them. The minko face washers are also in a 6 pack and just as soft.
CarrieB : 'AD: U can do a search on RP Data re the owners of that house which I can do using work login but I just realised I'd have to pay cos you are down south and not local.'
So i can do this down here for free? If i can that would be awesome! Or is that a work thing?
AD - Everything except 2 wraps to come home in fitted in my nappy bag too. I was gonna just use hospy clothes & take an outfit - well 2 in case she poohs or vomits on it - to go home in but I have heaps of outfits in there and about 4 or 5 wondersuits plus singlets which we have to provide and socks. Lol ...
Mink is lovely - I am getting a Mini Mink blanket from my mum from the registry at the babyshower. I can't wait - the lady from the company is sending the pressies out this week!!! Can't wait to see what we got!
RP Data Search - you would have to get this done through a local solicitor or real estate agent I'm afraid. Just explain to them why & hopefully they won't make you pay them to do the search as it is so easy. Other thing is you could get them to do a Title Search on it who lists the owners & mortgage and property details but this costs about $15 up here. Pity you aren't in Brisbane & I could've just done the search!
Back from the hospital AGAIN :banghead: [/quote]
Tazzy - I hope dr's went well today. Everything comes in 3's so that should be then end with the accident, the spider bite and the dog's fighting the other day ... Hope things start to improve for you now!
Carrie - Im glad things are starting to look up a bit with you and DH... The last few weeks of pregnancy can be very trying on you and make you rather emotional... Well, it is for me anyway!
Lana - Thanks babe. I think he had PMT or Man-o-pause last few days. I have been so emotional especially yesterday - I cried cos we forgot to get my chocolate quik when we went grocery shopping!!!
