I've got a whole bunch of microsuede coming and was wondering if I could use this for nappy liners.

I know alot of people use polar fleece but was wondering if anyone had used microsuede.

Also... how much is a meter of microfleece from spotlight? What's the width?

Don't quote me as I am sure there will be more knowledgeably people answer this but I am pretty sure that you can't put micro-suede against your baby's skin. It is too harsh and needs something between it and their bot-bot.

mircofleece is fairly cheap at my spotlight last time i saw it it was on sale for about 5 dollars a metre but it was certain rolls that were on sale but its less then $10 a metre i hope that helps:thumbsup:

Funkychicken.. that's microfibre next to the skin.

Microsuede is the same material they use inside Greenkids pockets.

it can all be very micro-confusing

:o Oh! :D

I do know that I use micro-fleece liners. I bought a metre of it at Spotlight and just cut hourglass shapes out of it. You don't need to hem or sew any part of it. Just cut and go!
See, I know a little! :p

It would probably be ok, you would have to do a zig zag or overlocking stitch, but being so thin it might not stay put in the nappy. Don't know you can only try.

It's confusing because it's also called suede cloth
