hello all :p

Hello all ....... its hard to believe my baby boy is almost 1 year old (born 22/08/03 by e- cs) and I will be 31 this November... while I am not exactly new to my area, I have little social contact with others in a similiar situation due to working full-time and studying full-time then part-time over the last 12 years... so I'm looking to meet others for emailing and meeting up. :o We live in the City of Casey.

My hubby works full-time plus overtime, so I am home on my own a lot and in 2 weeks we are moving into my mother-in-laws house, to save some $'s while we build our new house, (This will be INTERESTING to say the least!!!) I hope our new house will be completed by the end of Feb 05.

I'm about to start a new temporary job for 14 hours 3 days per week for 9 weeks as a youth worker and I'm panicing a bit. I wasn't planning on going back to work so soon, but this was an offer that I'm keen to try... I'm scared that I will miss my little guys first independant steps or early words. My sister will be working as our Nanny and I am very glad for that as I think I would choose not to go back to work if the only option was putting him into a day care centre for those few hours.

Geez I can go on can't I...

I look forward to hearing from everyone....

Hello - Good luck with moving in with your mm - in law - hoepefully your house will be finished in feb 05 so its not to long - but it will sure be interesting - I lived with my mum in law for 2yrs b4 we brought our first home - It was great at first but after my daughter was born it was down hill - as she wanted me to do things her way - & her way was 30yrs ago! Now that we have moved out things are much better!

Good luck with your new job - It is hard to leave them initially but having been through this I feel it will be better - it will give you a break from being a 24/7 mum & help you freshen up - Although initally you may feel you are missing their first words etc you will adapt & when you are with them I think you treasure the moment more cos you have been at work -

I have to give a medal to all stay at home mums - it is the hardest job!! Its not easy as it looks!
