My bub is nearly 7 weeks old (born 3 weeks early)and since she was born she has had a really blocked nose and whenever I look up her nostrils they always have mucus in them. A week after she was born i took her to he hospital because she was violently throwing up mucus and they said that this was normal for newborns. I also find when feeding her a bottle she dribbles a lot even after i have changed teats and i'm wondering if its because she cant breathe well through her nose.

Has anyone else had these problems? I have used n'saline drops and fess spray but nothing seems to work....her nose isnt runny but she does cough every now and again. I'm just worried there is something more going on than what the doctors say....

If it seems to be affecting her breathing and feeding, I'd get a second opinion. You don't want to be worried that she'll have probs breathing while sleeping, or that (worst cases) she'll start rejecting the bottle
