In fairness to the companies involved and others who may also want samples, please consider whether you are really likely to use/buy the products involved before requesting samples, as overdemand may make companies reconsider their policies.

When you try the product/s received, It's a good idea to thank (via email or phone) the company/ies providing the free samples, so that they will be more likely to continue providing the samples.

*DISCLAIMER* Sometimes companies can be selective when it comes to handing out samples, please dont take it out on me if they are being big meanies.Also if any of the samples ive got listed are out of date please PM me and I will remove it from the list.

If you go to babylove.com and join the club/become a member.you can get a PACKET on nappies sent out to you.(for free)Once you join, it should be written somewhere "trial-nappies" and tell them your babies nappy size.

I just signed up for the baby registry the other day at Toys'R'Us, and they give you a show bag full of samples and even some proper baby products (they may be discontinued stock or rep handouts, but still, it's free, right?).

Worth it if you're close to a store.

I went into a store and signed up (they ask your details) then you go around the store with a scanner and choose all the stuff you want (just like bridal registry's in Myer). Once you've finished they give you the bag. Who says anyone has to actually use the registry, right!! (Although I am handing out cards to those who ask, particularly for the baby shower).

Join the texta club, you will need to visit there web site and print of a form to join the club, fill it in and send it..

Every year they send out free texta packs for your child on their birthday!!

I got one sent out for my 7yr old brother he got a green pen and a little red pencil case..he didnt really like it but my two year old brother did!! our house had a nice "new look".:D

Today and last night I became OBSESSED with trying out for more freebies. I sent emails for all the ones I was interested in from the posts before from Neo (thanks Neo!!!)

I have sent emails requesting samples for each of these. I will let you know by posting, of what is sent and what I think of it - at first I thought it was a tight thing to do, then I thought --- how cool would it be when they arrive - its nice to have mail that isnt an obstetric BILL!!!!

yesterday I received my FREE SAMPLES from some places

happy baby sent me a dummy, which was great to recieve....not that i am sure if i will use a dummy but anyway...and some glossy brochures and a list of other things they make

gaia sent me some sample sachets of shampoo and baby wash etc - they look really good - and I have heard they are the best if bub is allergic to other brand

Today I went to the post box and what did I find?! :

Johnson's baby sent me a great whopper of a package,- it contained mini sorbolene cream, soothing naturals bath wash & soothing naturals nourishing lotion, ultraform nursing pads (2 pack), 24 hour moisture lotion, simply soft body wash, top-to-toe bath, a nice letter wishing me all the best etc...and some brochures etc...

I am starting to like this whole samples thing!

I am addicted to getting free samples after all it saves money i have contacted nearlly all of the sites from this forum and more still waiting but im sure they will arrive if there has been no address for the samples people want just type the company name into google and it should be pretty easy also go through your pregnancy or baby magazines and email all the product companies from the advertisements.Also before i got the internet i hand wrote a letter to johnsons and they sent me a bottle of baby lotion thats worth $5 in the supermarket and my handwritten letter to huggies scored me a travel pack of 16 wipes worth $3 or $4 KEEP THE SAMPLES COMIN!!!!!

Don't know if any of you are interested in this but.. There is a company that sends people out to your home and you have a party (like a tupperware party or similar) and they give you free samples. The thing is (and this is the best part!) it doesn't cost you a thing, and the people that do these demonstrations aren't selling you anything - they just explain the products and give you free samples!! There is no pressure to buy anything - because there isn't anything to buy! Woohoo! Great excuse to have some friends around. I'm pretty sure that the person who has the demonstration at there house gets another free gift as well. I went to one a couple of months ago, I think it's called PPs or Word of Mouth marketing or something like that. (It's all from memory - and I still have a really bad case of baby brain!) If you go to the cityrail website you can watch a clip about pram safety then you answer a question and fill in your details and they will send you a bib and a dvd on pram safety on trains. I havent received mine yet but i think it said about 3 weeks.:)

Johnson - trial packets of their lotions and washes alogn with nursing pads.

Happy Baby - a dummy

Cetaphil - trial packet of Moisturising lotion, skin clenser and moisturisign cream

Heinz - sticky finher hand and face wipes, toddler wipes

along with all this msot companys sent out info no their other products as well as lots of good information, which is greta being a first-time-mum.

I just went to their websites clicked contact them and explained i am a first time, mum-to-be and would like to sample some of their products, my fmaily thinks im rediclous..but hey it helps to try before you buy, and the sample packs although small are handy to throw in a nappy bag for a short night trip away and so on. :thumbsup:

I just joined the baby club at my local libary and i recieved a free bib and 2 story time books, plus lots brochures, after i hire so many books they keep giving you free ones.
i dont know if all libaries do it, but no harm in asking.

Thats a shame because Avent was one of the best :yes: . They sent a bottle, dummy, lotion sachets and breast pads!

Pidgeon was the best one I got, they sent me a manual breast pump :eek: and the little bag with the shampoo and powder etc!

Has everyone done the Nicepak one? You just enter their competition and they send you out a sample pack. You can enter it each month and they always send out the pack!

Someone previously said that they had signed up to mysavings.com Australia. I have just signed up, there are lots of freebies on there. I highly recommend that you sign up if you are interested. Yipeeeeeeee! My Nordic Nappy samples arrived today & I only ordered them 2 days ago! I got 1 x midi & 1 x maxi nappy also they eclosed some leaflets & a list of places that stock their nappies. They look similar to Aldi nappies in appearance, but are softer in texture. I highly recommend Nordic nappies as you can select as many products as you wish to try samples of. I don't know if anyone is interested in this, its almost a freebie. In this months Better Homes and Gardens mag they have a promotion to get a free photobook from the Snapfish website. You just have to pay the P&H which is only $4.95. I made one up of DD. You get to pick the clour of the cover (its hardcover) and then it has 20 pages to add your photos to and you can choose baby backgrounds. I haven't received it yet but it looked really good on the screen!!

I've become a bit addicted to emailing companies for samples now.....I even get my mum, mother-in-law and sister to get them for me as well because they are just so handy. My hospital bag is already full of nappies, creams, washes and products for when our little one arrives. They are also handy for travelling in the car or in the nappy bag for my toddler.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Pigeon, Nuk (though I don't think I'll have any luck there), Nordic nappies, Medihoney, La Clinica, RiteAid and Snugglers.

Thanks to Bub Hub and all the people who've posted on here, we've got plently of $$$ worth of free stuff!

Iam glad everyone is loving their freebies :thumbsup: By the time I had Julius I had SO MANY samples, I had my hospital bag filled.Now I use them in my nappy bag and well whenever.My favourtie freebies would have to be from pigeon, I loved their breast pads the most out of all the ones I tryed.Baby bounty bags are also something to keep an eye out for.You get 3 bags one whilst pregnant one after giving birth and one from target after you have the baby.I was a bit dissapointed with the one I got from target, their wasnt much in it.Their was a parenting mag I liked in it though.

Hey I got my FREE RAISING CHILDREN DVD today in the mail. 300 mins worth of advice, demonstrations and interviews with famous parents (Russell Crowe, Dave Hughes, Jana Rawlinson, Lote Tiquiri etc) and regular parents about how to raise children.

After buying a box of Huggies nappies and finding that about 3 of the tabs were faulty, I contacted Huggies on the website to let them know. The contact box asked for my details and the product code (on the tabs of the nappies) and the barcode on the box.

Then today I received in the mail a whole packet 22 Walker nappies just because a couple were faulty!

Definatly worth contacting them next time you have a faulty nappy........Huggies are the best!!!

hey everyone, ive been recieving freebies all week, omg ive got a draw full, yep FULL! a couple of companies said that they wont send me anything because they dont do that anymore, but then a couple have sent me doubles! one company siad that they dont send samples anymore, but i emailed them again saying it was a real shame cause i would have loved to try their products, (i pulled a little sob story) and they sent me a whole bunch of samples FREE!

I had the same response from nicepak...however the email i got was not very nice....quite rude if you ask me...They said that instead of asking for free samples i should just go out and buy the product and see how it works. Ah well...

I am still looking for companies to email. Some companies I found by, when I'm in a shopping centre or pharmacy, looking in the baby aisle and writing down names of companies whose products I'd be interested in trying.

That happened to me too, there is another email address you can email and they reply... umm its further back in the thread, im not sure what page its on sorry. if you read through the last few pages its there.

Have you had any companies telling you to either just go out and buy their products or to entre their competitions on their site? i have, one company was really rude to me, so i emailed someone else in their company to complain and i got sent some free stuff, lol.

After reading this thread I too jumped on the freebie train. So far i have recieved samples from:

& a few other companies can't remember exactly which ones, maybe nicepak or gelpack, nappysaks, wipes, disposable bibs, sticky fingers wipes, oh and also curash sent wipes & sachets of products.

Our products are available through most pharmacies. We do not currently have sample sized products in stock and are unsure when there will be any available.

Our Barrier cream has proved to be excellent for nappy rash, heat rash and assorted issues for babies. The honey is antibacterial and hydrating, helping to heal and keep moisture in the skin layers.

Our Nipple balm is currently out of stock, though some pharmacies may still have some. It is helpful to heal damaged nipple skin and is safe for the baby.

teats.

Hi everyone, been a few months since I have been on this thread, I got my coles bag the other day it was great, only my daughter is now over 6 months old so not all of it was usefull, but know people who are expecting so it is ok. a few months ago I sent away to all of the websites off here and nearlly everyone sent me samples, the best would have been heinz, avent , nuk, huggies and jnj. I have been reading that alot of people never got a dummy off happy baby, both my husband and I sent away and both received one. I would list the addresses of all the ones I got samples of but I dont know which I can write and which I can't. And it would be a very large list I have a garbage bad full of samples, from dummies to bottles and nappies.

i too love freebies, i have emailed nearly every company for samples but the best so far was when i joined the Coles babyclub online i was sent a voucher in the newsletter to redeem a baby sample bag, it was huge!!
It contained:

Just to let you know, Snugglers will not send out any samples of their nappies. I'm unaware if they produce anything else but from the email I received they probably wouldn't send out samples of that either. Never mind.

Gaia- asked me to send a self addressed stamped envelope then they will send me samples (which I did)
LaClinica- sending samples, no questions asked
New Directions- replied with 'We offer new clients 5 free samples with there first order.Do you need a catalogue sent to you?' so I think they want you to buy stuff first :thumbsdown:
Avado Organics- sending samples and asked where I heard of their products.

Im a qlder too and was a bit dissapointed with the last lot of coles baby samples being in other states only. So thats so great! I subscribe already anyway, they often have great discount vouchers too!

Don't know if any of you are interested in this but.. There is a company that sends people out to your home and you have a party (like a tupperware party or similar) and they give you free samples. The thing is (and this is the best part!) it doesn't cost you a thing, and the people that do these demonstrations aren't selling you anything - they just explain the products and give you free samples!! There is no pressure to buy anything - because there isn't anything to buy! Woohoo! Great excuse to have some friends around. I'm pretty sure that the person who has the demonstration at there house gets another free gift as well. I went to one a couple of months ago, I think it's called PPs or Word of Mouth marketing or something like that. (It's all from memory - and I still have a really bad case of baby brain!) Good luck with your sample hunting! :wave:

Yeah! I've won a bright bots full cot set (doona, nappy stacker, sheets ect), cd's, toys, cute little sandals, fitted cloth nappies, a massive nuk bottle pack...and more! The list is huge. So for 50c, its worth it. And it doesnt take all that long to write up your entry.

I got a hello babe bag months and months ago, and it was pretty good. I never got a bounty bag so i sob storied and she gave me one lol.
