The kids and I are going to come up on the train from Nowra next week some time (haven't decided a day yet) and I need to find sneakers for my dd that are almost pure white! They are part of her school uniform and she has grown out of last years ones (which were a bargain $1 from the op shop!). I also need to get my ds some decent sneakers too.

I don't have a heap to spend, so would love some suggestions on where I can go - preferably within walking distance of Wollongong train station. I will be bringing a stroller for my ds as he is not quite 4 and I don't think he will cope too well with all of the walking.

Also, is there somewhere that you can suggest as a really kid friendly place to take them for a relaxing lunch break where they can get some nutricious, yet fun food?

Look forward to hearing your suggestions!

Hi !
In wollongong Rivers is pretty good for kids shoes (usually under $20 i think). not sure if they have pure white ones though. They are behind greater union cinemas on burelli st. Also payless might have some good kids shoes as well.
Hope it helps

I'm in South Nowra/Worrigee area on Old Southern Road.

I have lived in the area for nearly 3 years and don't think I ever want to move away! It is such a peaceful place to live, the area is beautiful and I have made so many friends that I feel like i have more supprt than I did when i lived near my family!

Pm me next time you are coming down and maybe we can meet up!
