If I were you Spencer's mum I'd be listening to the J's on the web while going through Bub hub.

Yeah, I'm a keen J listener, but have to admit that I missed TT today as got a spare moment to get a haircut. My favourite anouncer is Myf - love the trashy lunchtime quiz. :)

Yeah, that is a great idea! Why didn't I think of that??

Sorry buy Myf s*&ts me. I hate her laugh, the quiz is good though.
I am really into Hack and TT. :)

Keeps me sane here in small town - I'm always phoning for requests etc

Quite fond of our Myf - not when I first heard her laugh on with Merick and Rosso a couple of years ago but now - yep love her.

My Fave of the all - Rosy Beaton - Little Aussie Champion that she is!

We should decide on a song and do a mass request via email for the hub bubers of Australia! - OK now I am getting carried away!

With you too O's mum - I love Hack - it seems to be one of the only balanced current affairs shows around (tv or radio), they always seem to give equal time to both sides of the story. It's my release when I get frustrated about an issue. There's some issues on this forum (some I've replied to and others I've stayed away from) which get my goat as they seem to be only seeing one side of the story (see why A Current Affair etc annoy me).

I have actually grown to like J and the Dr - their morning confessions for their last comps were really funny (like the guy that told about his "house fire"), but I have to say to Jessie - love Rosy too. Heck - it's pretty much the only station I listen to (except when in the car with DH or SK). ;)

I am a listener too - haven't listened to commercial stations for years and find that they just annoy me too much. ( Which means that I am actually not sure exactly who Kyle and Jackie O are or which station they are on although I gather from the popular media that they are radio people.)
I don't tend to have it on at home these days but play it in the car when I am not having demands for nursury rhymes and Disney songs!
I still miss the old days of Mikie and Helen, and now Adam and Wil, but I don't mind J and the Dr.

I miss Adam Spencer...... and I saw Helen Razer on the tellie the other night - she has calmed down a bit. But I really miss the morning show - it was always interesting, when the 'rap' music gets a bit much I sneak over to News Radio......god I am getting old.

I love JJJ but am not game to listen to it in the car with DD as she is to good a repeating stuff and some of the songs get a bit dirty. If I am desperate I put it on and try to edit out the naughty bits, but usually just end up listening to CD's.

I hate commercial radio stations, don't the adds just drive you nuts!

I tried listening to a new Sydney station Vega 95.3 FM it's OK nothing on the J's but had to stop at a really old Elvis song! (sorry girls he has just never done it for me).

Oh for Mikey and The Sandman, Adam and Will.
Hack is great too.

I just heard this morning in the car that today is Mel in the morning's last day as she is going of to have another bub.

I have to say though I prefer the afternoon guys (today today) to the morning guys (J and the Dr).

Oh for the days of being able to play whatever I want instead of bargaining NOT to play the Wiggles AGAIN.

M.

I'm with you Monmic - Even tho I've only been travelling with DS in the car for 18months - I'm pretty sure he's listening to everything waiting to regurgitate it all out later, so frequently I change to the other stations - mind you hate the poppy stuff and get irritated when I hear the same songs within a two hour period. However, I've been a stepmum for 8years and never listened to the J's in the car as I was worried what they would regurgitate (as they talk somewhat more than DS) and they've come out with a fair bit more crass stuff than some of the stuff that I listen to. (Pretty sure their mum is a poppy station listener rather than a J one.)

BTW - aren't we all showing our ages - Mikey and the sandman, Helen Razor, Adam and Wil? Totally agree - like all of these better than J & the Dr and C&C - but maybe I'm just getting old?

We used to listen JJJ a lot.

Its kinda funny because last night as we were driving on the way to my parents in law to pick up Thomas, listening to Rosie has brought back memory of the two of us. She used to be our "friends" at night during our uni years. My DH actually used to work with one of the girls there from TripleJ long time ago.

We still love Rosie, altho her voice is getting "old" if you know what I mean!

Go TripleJ! :D

I'm a JJJ girl too, I also miss Mikey and Helen, and also Mikey and Paul McDermott. Chris and Craig are fantastic and I think that the 5.30 current affairs slot is excellent.

Ads on radio drive me round the bend.

write me up as another JJJ fan. I started listening to it when it first came to Perth as JJ! (oh boy am I showing my age now!)

yes, I miss them too.. I'm not a big fan of Will Anderson, but Adam and he had brilliant chemistry.. worked well.

You can catch Myf on Spicks And Specs on ABC Wednesday nights (though this week is the last before Christmas break) Great show too.

I love all of JJJ, but I never miss Dr Karl and I love no commercials! that rocks! ;)

Great to see there are so many J's listeners out there!
I know it's a youth radio station and we were probably supposed to move on to Radio National a while back, but where's the humour in that?
You can't get better than funny people, great music and no ads!!! :)

He he, well you know we often listen to good ol Radio National, esp driving during one of those long-crazy peak hours because they are good with their up-date traffic news...
