What type of prefolds do you use?

I've made a bunch if pocket nappies and bought some really fluffy and this bamboo prefolds. 2x3x2

The only trouble is they take quite a while to dry and I don't have a dryer so need to get some other fast drying prefolds just incase there are no dry bamboo's for the day.

I don't really want to use hemp cause of the smell and crunchy factor.

What prefolds have you been using?
Are they quick drying?

I ordered some hemp/flannel prefolds from Poppets Place on Ozebaby and not only are they soooooo pretty, but they dry quickly and are a good fit on my bub.

The baby beehind prefolds are good too.

Both take hardly any time to dry, but the BBH prefolds have more layers in them, so take longer. The poppets Place ones take virtually no time on a warm day.

If it is to stuff a pocket nappy, then I don't think the crunchy factor of hemp would be a problem... I would jusy have xtra inserts to cope with bad weather, or use a flat :)

If it's for pockets, it actually helps to have a bit of stiffness in the hemp to keep the nappy in a good shape. Mine are all hemp, and I wouldn't use anything else :yes:

Anti bacterial, dry pretty quickly, and absorb really well!!

I just get my yard or metre piece, cut it into 8 squares (or slight rectangles) do an overlocker stich with my sewing machine, and then sew two lines to stop the middle from shifting (divedes the square into three strips). And wa la ready to go. I then fold it into three like a brochure to stuff into the nappy

Microfibre drys really fast!

You can jsut buy the cleaning cloths from BigW - about $1 each.

Not sure if you can use them on their own though?

In use microfibre with the hemp if I need extra boosting, I use them for extra boosting with peapods always

I don't use pockets but I have organic cotton prefolds plus Hemparoos and bamboo boosters.

I brought the cheapest prefolds from the weewuns and they don't take long to dry.
