depo needle

after Cobys birth my doc told me i had to choose a form on contraception... so i chose the depo needle... as i didnt want a rod in my arm and i would forget to take the pill...

i took it twice (6 months in total) and let it run out about 2 months ago... coz i was having side affects and just didnt like it...
The only prob is i still havent got my periods back... my q is... can i still get pregnant without having my periods?? and does anyone know how long it will take to go back to normal??

I used the depo shot too. I used it 3 times (9 months) and i had all sorts of problems.. i seem to bleed at random times.. i thought it was terrible.

It took me probably at least 2 - 3 months to go back to normal.

so i tried the implanon after that (the rod) and it was worse !!! (for me anyways) i cant really answer your question,, as everyone is different :rolleyes: sorry!

i persisted with the rod for 2 years and i practically bled the entire time. i eventually had it removed as i wanted to fall pregnant.

however im nearly due, and i will be heading back down the road of contraception again soon :( not looking forward to it, as i havent found anything suitable to me. (im terrible taking the pill! never remember!!)
