DOOL - can anyone help?

I've just been watching DOOL and I've missed it for a few weeks. There's an odd blone bloke with an ugly moustache talking to Will and Lucas. And I've just found out that this ugly bloke is SAMMY? How did this happen :confused: - is she gettign a sex change :eek: (surely not).

Please someone put me out of my misery.

I'm a DOOL fanatic.... :o I know, I'm a B&B fanatic too - honestly, they're like the only 2 day time shows I watch....

So OK Sami......

Sami was being her usual self (I actually like Sami, and feel really sorry for her) and seeking revenge. She wants revenge on:

* Kate, for setting her up to be caught naked in bed with Brandon on the night before her wedding
* Bo, for having her mother shot
* John, for giving Marlena's family wedding pearls to Belle instead of Sami, and also for being a junkie

Somehow Tony Di Mera - oh sorry, COUNT Tony Di Mera - got wind of Sami's pain, and decided to use it to his advantage. So he convinces Sami (via anonymous phone calls, with his voice disguised) to take revenge on all those that have hurt her. He sends this makeup artist guy to Sami's place, to put on a plastic face, fake hair, fake moustache (and apparently fake arm muscles!!) and now Sami is "Stan". She is given a huge bag full of pills, which she gives to John in order to make him go back to using drugs (she has succeeded there) and she called Billie and Bo to taunt them about Georgia (don't EVEN get me started on that subplot!! How ridiculous!!! It's so obviously Chelsea, that little slutty friend of Abigails!! Drugging people into submission is in her genes...).

So basically, Sami has become a Di Mera pawn. But she doesn't know that it's Count Tony who is telling her to do all these things. She just keeps getting these anonymous phone calls telling her what to do. She got a letter too the other day, with heaps of information on it about how to get revenge on various people in Salem. I'm waiting eagerly to see how she ruins Kate's life - which Count Di Mera is already doing because it is his henchmen who have captured Phillip.

I think maybe I didnt' answer your question totally - got a bit carried away with myself!! Sami is only pretending to be Stan in order to get revenge on people - there's no sex-change happening or anything. I don't quite understand how the plastic face and fake everything is staying on for so long by itself, or how they strapped her womanly boobies and hips down... but anyway..... ;)

I tend to only catch bits of DOOL and most of the time it doesn't matter, but obviously some serious stuff has gone down recently.

I didn't know that Phillip had been captured by DiMera's ppl. Knew he was in deep dodo - didn't know who was responsible.

And the hair that Bo and Billie were talking about today - is that a new lot. (I knew they got some from the little chickie in Europe, was that neg and now there's a new lot of hair?).

I laughed my head off when Jen and Jack went out alone to the cabin instead of telling the world he was back. You just knew he was going to be captured again before everyone found out he was alright.

Kate drives me nuts too :D

I'm into DOOL as well, even though the storylines are soooo out there it is amazing.... No one ever dies!!! No matter what happens, they always seem to come back from the dead...

What really annoys me is the one DOOL day is like 2 weeks of episodes...

But I'll keep watching...

My personal fave is Marlena who has been dead and back 3 times now (is that right?). Mind you know Hope has been dead that many times too hasn't she? or is she just twice (once on the exploding boat, once with the princess gina shenanigans). Billie's been dead once (along with every other Salem stalker "victim"), actually I think Tony's died about 3 times too (but I'm not too sure on the numbers). Nope, I think Marlena holds the crown :D .

Yeah I think Marlena hold the crown for number of deaths but I think nearly half of the cast has been dead at one point or another... And how is it that the DiMera's have so much control over the residents of Salem and the technology to pull of some of the crap they do... It totally amazes me sometimes.. there are some very warpped writters in the DOOL writing offices... :)

My favourite out there story is the Roman / Marlena story...The first Roman was a Wayne someone (dad to Carrie - daughter to Anna), then they had Sami and Eric, then he disappeared, but a new bloke turned up who was Roman with plastic surgery - John Black (Stefano DiMera's pawn), then somehow John wasn't Roman anymore and the guy who used to play Chris Kosticek turned up to be another Roman, and I've just read in a mag that the original Roman is going to turn up again - go figure.

Yes this proves what a sad case I am - my mum used to pick me up from kindy and we'd watch DOOL together while having lunch. (30years ago :eek: ). There are so many other great? twists (including how Mimi's mum used to be Adrienne (butter wouldn't melt in her mouth), and was originally played by another actress who went by a different name with a different personality) - Confused? :confused: .

Anyway, for the true buffs, we're still about 6months behind the US and you can keep up to date on www.tv.com (We're somewhere just after episode 10000). Now I've embarrassed myself by revealing how much I know about this soap, I'd better retreat into another world.

PS I promise that I only watch this one about once a week - it's the beauty of the fact that 1day DOOL time = 2 weeks real time :o

I almost forgot about the whole Tony thing - am I the oldest one here or does anyone else remember that he never knew he was Stefano's son to begin with - he used to be a good guy and was going to marry Renee - who he then found out was his sister - so he went on a bad bender, then he found out that while they thought they shared the same dad it turned out that his dad was Stefano so he was going to go back and marry Renee, but she'd already died...Anyway I think that was the start of Tony turning bad, the rest corresponds to how John found out he was Tony's brother (Stefano's son) and "took Kristen off him".

Oops - revealed more of how much I know - but it still sounds very confusing. I swear I didn't watch it when I was working full time b4 DS - but I did while at Uni. :o

I wish everyone would get off Hope's back!!! Kate is such a *****, and Billie, well I'm hoping she falls off the wagon today and drinks herself stupid. I cannot STAND her. I can't wait until she finds out that Georgia is really Chelsea - all that crap she said about "I will know my daughter ... a mother knows ... I will know who she is as soon as I see her " etc etc. Bo is so stupid sometimes... after all these years of being tormented by the Di Mera's, isn't it obvious that the best way to hurt Billie and Bo would be to have Georgia grow up in Salem, right under their very noses???!!! Or is it just obvious to me :o

I thought that I'd seen that guy years and years ago in it!!! I used to watch it with my nanna when we came to Adelaide for the holidays when I was a kid... And i thought that Mimis mum had been in it before..? How did Mims end up with her as a mum? I though her mum was straight laced years ago?
Hope is annoying me, Kate is a cow, even Shaun and Belle are starting to go on a bit, although now those two are getting together maybe a good shag will fix them. ( my answer to everything lol)
Oh I hope that Jen sees Jack..he is a cutie. I didnt know what the heck was going on the other day with the two Jennifers. I missed it for a couple of days..

Jacksmum05 I think Stephano would have the highest amount of death tallies. i wouldn't be suprised if he rises yet another time one day. Maybe when and if his stint ends with B&B??
I dont understand why Sammy is on a mission with Bo about him shooting Marlena when she wasn't even shot anyway and it was a ploy...And Sammy knows that ?? Oh thats right..Its not supposed to make sense. It IS Days of Our Drearies...

You're right J&K's mum - I really am a sad case (look also for my appearances on H&A and All Saints... :) )

As for the Mimi's mum story, apparently Bonnie was originally played by someone else and she was called something else (Beth or something) - I really shouldn't know and I really shouldn't care. Her personality was completely different - but obviously wasn't a ratings winner. BTW, what's with her and Mickey? - reminds me of Amanda and Scott's grandad...ooh that's where H&A get's all of it's wacky storylines ;)

Just call me the queen of trivia - I remember so many things that are really pathetic and forget so many important things like where I put my keys.

Yeah Stephano will probably rise from the dead again.. Once the current storyline is about to wrap up, they will need him to start a new world of weirdness...

The Belle and Shaun drama will continue just like Bo and Hope, you can already predict the storylines to come..on again off again on again, etc, etc love affair... :rolleyes:
