Implantation???

Hi everyone.

I was thinking about getting the implantation pill. Does anyone have it? Is it good? How do you get it? Sorry fo all the Q's but I want to know more about it before I decide, Im just not good at taking the pill.

Implantation pill?

r u talking about the implanon? the rod that gets inserted into your arm? or is this another pill type thing? :confused:

Same question - are you perhaps meaning Implanon - implant that goes in your arm? If so, you can check out there are a couple of threads where some of us have given our experiences with the Implanon.

No worries...
in my experience... i didnt like it. i persisted with it for 2 years , i bled constantly! My doctor said it would take a while for my body to get used to it.. it never did.

But i just couldnt take it anymore!. i also had a bad experience with the doctor that put it in. i had 1 small needle to numb (which didnt work) and then 2 seconds later she shoved it in, i thought i was going to die! :eek: it just hurt so much.

silly me.. went back to the same doc to get it removed.. it looked like the only one she had ever done, coz she was a little unsure!!

Anyways,

Im so sorry to have to tell you all negative things !!
My sister and friend also had it inserted in their arms and they didnt have a problem! (different doc too)

As pegasus said.. there is another thread on here somewhere that could probably give u an idea of other people experiences.. im sure there will be some positives on this subject :)
