I don't have any trouble with it either, but maybe its your tension.

It might be too loose or even too tight. Don't ask me how to adjust it!! have a look in the instruction booklet for your machine.

Or just fiddle with the buttons (my preferred method!)

I DO NOT suggest this:shame:
I have done this once before and screwed the whole machine! I then spent the next 3 hours getting it back to where it was...:o

As Shed said.. either your tension or you need to try a different needle.

Either put a brand new needle on or try a ballpoint needle.

Yeah, that IS a risk you take using my method.

I didn't say it was the BEST method!

Go with a ballpoint needle - you might need a 14, since velcro is quite thick. I use aplix and use a 12 needle. And are you zig zag or straight stitching it on. Cause you do tend to have more problems if you zig zag but it attaches the velcro better, than straight.

Try using polyesther thread and adjust your tension.

i sew velcro VERY slowly ...... making sure to catch the velcro just on the edge, not where the loops of the hook or loop are ..... it always went mental if it went anywhere near the hooks especially.

personally if the tension for the rest of your sewing is fine i wouldn't be adjusting it just to do velcro ..... unless you're COMPLETELY sure where to put it back to, i hate fixing wrong tension.
