hi guys

mikenzee is 9 .5 months old and has servere reflux and is MSPI and is a tube feeder she has to be fed 24 hours a day with neocate formular with polyjoule addad for calories she is also on losec and zantac abd is still in really bad pain and has total food aversion:banghead: she is booked in for a fundo and G tube next wednesday, Has any of the other children on here had this done if so what was the outcomes

I haven't been in this situation, it must be hell for you. My DD started refusing the bottle at 3 months, and now at almost 6 months, hasn't gotten any better. :no: Most days, I just don't know what to do...

She does eat solids most of the time, but hasn't put on weight for her last 5 checkups (was weekly, the last one 2 weeks ago tomorrow). She is due for another weigh-in tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to it!

I have heard of quite a few bubs being tube fed, and they were talking about it for Bianca if she doesn't start putting on weight, but nothing to Mikenzee's extent. My thoughts are with you!!! :fingerscrossed: Mikenzee will improve afterwards!!!

i am sory to here you baby isnt feeding it is so horible when they just refuse, is she breast or botle fed if she is botle fed perhaos ask her dr of dietican for calorie suplement to add to her formular we use polyjoule it is fantastic basicly full of carbs, they add it to the formalr for kids that are not gaining weight and niot eating much as it makes what they are eating have more calories in it

i hope she imprives soon i know how hard it is
