Just wondering what everyone's sleeping position is...

With DS I was told to sleep on my left side, apparently it was best for me and baby (can't really remember why)... At the moment I'm finding it very hard to get comfy, so I sleep mainly on my tummy facing the right side... I try to sleep on my left but its just not working...

I'm a side sleeper or on my back. I try the tummy but can't now, too uncomfortable. All I recall from DD is that you couldn't lay on your back for too long after a certain gestation time as you can compress a main artery.

I lie on my tummy or to the left side. I know I wont be able to do the tummy position for much longer! For some reason I just can't stay on my right side for too long, never have been able to. Left is more comfy!

Popping in from the due in April thread......I have found that putting a folded towel under my belly when sleeping on my side, I feel a lot more comfortable.

I find my left side most comfortable and it is supposed to supply more oxygen to the bub ::) It's weird because before I was pregnant I would always sleep on my right side.

I think you only need to sleep on your left side when you have a big baby belly. It reduces the pressure on a vein or something...

I'm still sleeping on my tummy (when I CAN sleep) with flatish pillow under my right hip/side. (Don't wanna squash the bub  )

I'm sleeping on left or right side with a bolster cushion under top leg, 'cos it's more comfy. Lying on my tummy is getting a bit uncomfortable and makes me feel more sick.
