my mind is blank, I cannot think of things to feed my kids

currently they eat
fishfingers with packet pasta some vegies(on good days thet will actually eat the vegies)
chicken nuggets as above
chicken stirfry
mini pizzas/pizza slices
sausages and pasta and veg
sometimes cheesy homemade pasta or tomato pasta bake
sometimes rice with their meals
sometimes noodles with their meals
sometimes spag bol
sometimes curried/devilled/casserole sausages
cheerios(the sausages)
Ds eats baked beans and spag on toast etc but not DD

what on earth can I feed them that they might actually like? these foods are all boring and not very nutritous. I cant for the life of me get them to enjoy variety.

alot of the time they will eat just the fish fingers/ nuggets and thats it:eek: I know im a bad mum SIL tells me all the time.

does anyone have ideas recipes or websites to encourage them to eat more??

I make this, the kids love it..

mix mince, breadcrumbs, egg, little onion, if you like, and half cup dry rice together, form into tiny meatballs.. fry till brown..
pour over 1 tin tomato soup, and let simmer for about half an hour. serve with wedges, pots, chips, or I make mash pots, then form when cold into little balls, and when cold in fridge, micro, so they stay as little balls.
My kids love it, and it costs under $7 to make, with most you have anyway.
they are called porcupine rissoles around here..

How about a quiche? Pastry on the bottom and sides of a pie dish, then mix up some eggs, milk, grated cheese, bacon, any type of vege you like, etc etc. Pour into pie dish on top of pastry. Cook until it doesn't wobble too much when jiggled. Delicious hot with with chips or wedges, or cold with salad.

We call it 'scrambled egg pie' because otherwise Miss Thang won't eat it - "i don't like keeeeeeeesh"

Im going grocery shopping today, so any other ideas would be great.

I made alfredo the other night(home made) and DD just stared at it.

 The top section of this site is not that great, but there are some good related links on the bottom.
