Elective Caesarean birth

Hi Everyone, I've just discovered that I'm expecting my second child and have been told by my Dr that the chances of a 2nd caesarean birth are very high due to the complications of my firth birth. I've been told that there is a Dr at the Gold Coast who performs mother assisted caesarean births? Has anyone else heard this??

Does 'mother assisted' mean you help to pull the baby out of your belly? I've seen this in Pregnancy & Birth magazine.
