View Full Version : Why oh why? (A clothie's lament)

On Tuesday I bought sposies,
I thought it would be fun,
To have a few days off of hanging
Nappies in the sun.
On Wednesday I did washing,
I got all up to date,
But then I thought "oh bugger it,
Until he poo's, I'll wait"
Then Thursday brought the farting,
They stunk to heaven high,
I figured that it shan't be long
Until the poo would fly.
On Friday, still no pooping,
I shrugged and said "oh well,
These breastfed babies and their bowels,
You just never can tell"
That same day, Friday morning,
I got some fluffy mail,
I danced around the front yard screeching
"Bamboo! The Holy Grail!"
So Saturday came quickly,
I've washed the new bamboo,
I put you in it and within
An HOUR you do POO!!!
Why must you poo,
In the Bamboo,
I swear it's true,
You wait to poo,
Till I have you,
Dressed in bamboo!

I'm still waiting for Izzy to do his business (it's been 3 days:eek: ) so the bamboo is going on his butt as soon as he wakes up!
Ahh - the magic of bamboo!

LOL
Liam did the same thing last week ....and OMG I just about died when it came.
You summed that up so poetically and so spot on!! DS did that just yesterday, i went through 2 pooey nappies in about 30 mins worth of wearing his new nappies! lol
hahaha poor queenie!!
I sympathise. I put Cobey in clothies and he did his poo so I rejoiced and put him in his Honeyboy....
and then he decided to poo again :(

  Very clever & very funny!!
I must admit that because i only have the 2 MCN i wait until DD has done her business in the morning in a sposie before i put a clothie on her bottom! At almost 2 she is a little more predictable on that front, and since i have to use sposies at some point during the day, i figure why not! Not for long though - more MCN are on their way!
Well done :yelclap:

Yes I have learned how absorbent the Bamboos really are, they even take in the poo
Little Squirt doesn't even rinse them out
But they do come clean after a wash
Maybe its because they are just so darn comfortable?
