New to area

Hello there,
I am a mother of three children. Samuel 5 yrs, Chelsea 3yrs and Ivy-Rose almost 6mths.
I have recently moved to the Gold Coast and are looking for other people in my area to chat to and possible meet with and become freinds.
I am living in the Gaven area.
Hopefully there are other people out there that need some company for there children and some sanity for themselves. Talking to children 24/7 can get a little fustrating sometimes.

Welcome to Bub Hub. I have recently moved to the Gold Coast too (although I am on the southern end). I have found that this site has given me a bit of relief from mummy duty!

You must be kept busy with 3 children. I only have one (6 weeks) and at the moment can't understand why anyone would go back - it is soo full on! I have been advised that things get better......

LOL I love how you don't know why people go back again. I have to say it isn't for everyoneand wonder why I went 3 times but it soon passes with a funny smile or a cute backwards phrase from the kids.
But saying that I wouldn't never want to go back and erase them and funny enough or maybe mad enough to do it again some day.
Hope you are settling into Gold Coast life and your new baby who will bring you lots of joyous moments yet. They grow realy realy realy fast so enjoy every minute.

I have been on the coast for just over 12 months now and thought I should get out and meet other mums. I have an 18 month old boy and am planning to start trying for the 2nd in a couple of weeks time. Hi Nicloe,
I know how it is to not bother meeting new people when you move to an area, I was like that when I moved to Ipswich 4 years ago. But this time I decided to find other ways to meeting people. And this is been a slow option but a good one I think.
I will be glad to meet up with you and chat. I am replying here as bigpond is having problems with there email. I will email as soon as it has been sorted.
