TTC Soon hopefully

Hi Guys,

I thought I'd better give you an update. we went back to the ob last wednesday all is well. They did Chromosome testing on the products after my D & C and all was normal which is a huge relief. He didn't want to do anymore testing as he believes it was unfortnatley just bad luck. I have to have my progesterone levels done on day 21 of my next cycle just to see if they are ok but otherwise he was happy that once I have had a period (which Im still waiting for) if it seems normal then we can start TTC again.

As you can imagine I am a bit apprehensive about this, but I have decided I will see what AF is like then if all is ok then we may start TTC again if not then we will wait until next year.

I am still having my good and bad days, and as x-mas gets closer i'm sure i will have a few bad days but I am just taking it one day at a time.

Thats good to know that the tests came back normal, we had those tests done too but are still waiting for the results. It is scary isn't it, thinking about trying again, not knowing what's going to happen, hoping that everything goes along smoothly this time. I hope that you are having more good than bad days as time passes. Xmas is going to be a tough time, have you got lots of family around you that can help you though it. Take care and take it easy.

I am so glad the test results came back normal. I have been thinking about you lots lately as I can feel your pain, as, if I had of lost this one I would have been devastated. I hope you are recovering well and wish you all the world of luck for your next pregnancy.

Hi Sheree,

I'm so glad all is well with you and your little bundle. Hopefully soon I will have my own little one to talk about. At the moment I am just taking it easy and enjoying life (trying too). you take it easy and rest up as the doctor ordered, I will keep you updated on how we go.

Hi Pippa

It's good to hear from you again. I'm pleased you were happy with the news from your obstetrician. We felt the same when we were told our m/c was caused by a random cell division accident, with no increased risk of it happening again. If ever there is "good" news associated with a miscarriage, it is hearing that it was a random event (or just bad luck) and not that there is something wrong with you.

I hope things go well for you when you TTC again.

Hi Jenny,

how are you going. It's a waiting game for you too isn't it. Hopefully AF should come in the next week or two. Last time it came 6 weeks after my D & C so I presume it will be the same htis time it has been 5 weeks tomorrow sine my D & C so any day now. But I'm not stressing about it this time, nature will take it's course and It will happen when it's going to happen.

Hey - its so amazing how your so positive after all you have been thru, girl you just amaze me, i think you should change your sign in name to superwomen! Sometimes when im not having a very good day and ive read one of your posts it always makes me feel better, as i know you have been thru hell and back but your strenghth is unbelivable!
I get the all clear in febuary if my beta hcg level is still below 5ml, so i cant wait for the new year as i have a feeling it will bring great happiness to us all! Im also waiting for af, as i had my implanon out after only 5 week because i had constaint af and now im waiting for them to come back so i know im ovulation so i can get back on track. So hopefully by next week we both get them ;) .
