I am now 27yr...had my birthday 2 days ago!! I have been married 8.5yrs and have 3 kids...DS 5yr, DD#1 2yr and DD#2 almost 7 months (born 27th April 05).

We live in Toowoomba...hence up on a moutain!! We were just at the Gold Coast last weekend actually...love the beach!!

I am 25 and have been married for 2 years and have a dd who is 16 months.

I am pleasently surprised at the number of young married mums here. Has any of you found that your friends have gone on there own journey's now that don't invove you.

I was 22 (almost 23) when I got married and none of my friends could understand why I wanted to get married. Then when I had dd I was 23 (almost 24) all my existing friends dissapered I have not seen or heard from them since. I guess they were not real friends. :(

I also found that a lot of my friends became acquaintances since I got married and had my daughter. But now, they are all getting married and engaged too, and seem to want to catch up more again now. :confused: Go figure!

I got married at 18yr and certainly know where you are coming from! Had my first at 21yr. So I haven't many friends still and have only in the last couple of years started finding friends...mainly on-line in forums though.
