Just a little tip I'd like to share.

My six month old is a slippery little bugger in the bath. He is too chubby for his bath seat and was too big for a baby bath from the time he was born. I found (now that he can sit fairly well) that the best bath aid was a piece of non-slip matting that you can get from the cheapy shops. You usually use it for under mats and things, it comes in a roll and only costs $2. I pop it in the bath, plonk bub on top of it and finally his cute little bum stops slipping away from underneath him.

I only wish I had saved my money and never bothered with a bath seat!

I have a bath support thingy - but it is really small and will only work for a few months - I'll have to remember that simple tip when bubs gets bigger!!!
