A family is tripled in merely minutes...

A Tuttle family was expecting a baby, but what came is a little bit more than they expected.

Amanda Schantz explains.

Being parents to two little kids, keeps the Johnsons' hands full and recently they added more to the family tree.
Lynnette and Dusty Johnson gave birth to not one, but three babies on November 14th.
Marissa, Silas and Anna came as a surprise-mom and dad were only expecting one.
(Dusty Johnson, Father of Triplets) "The midwife could only find one heartbeat, she found different heartbeats in the womb, but she just thought they were echoes, because they were all at the same time."
Lynnette and Dusty had a midwife to help deliever..and for them both it's their first set of triplets.
(Dusty Johnson, Father of Triplets) "It was I suppose kind of a shock, but I was too busy helping out, didn't pay much attention to it."
(Lynnette Johnson, Mother of Triplets) "All natural, natural pregnancy with triplets and natural birth."
(Lynnette Johnson, Mother of Triplets) "They're all born where there was no complications at home, all natural, that they were just good. Silas had to go to the hospital, but he's fine now. There were no lasting effects on him, so that's been, I'm real thankful about that."
The Johnson's are receiving help from family and friends, who come over and help with the many feedings and many changings.
Big brother Christopher is even taking on some duties.
(Dusty Johnson, Father of Triplets) "He even helps feed, you can sit him down and he'll hold a baby, stick a bottle in his mouth and he'll hold the bottle, so he's some help."
The Johnsons are planning to have more children in the futureand despite the midwife's last miscalculation they'll hire her again.

There will be a potluck dinner on Sunday at the Tuttle Blue Hall beginning at 12:30 p.m. to help cover medical costs for the Johnsons.
