Hey there, was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if they know of anyone that can do centrepieces (with candles etc) for wedding tables and also the bridal table. I'd like a cheaper option rather than flowers as I am doing it myself.

I had a friend who did her own centre pieces. She did a hurricane vase with a pillar candle in the middle (just get the candle from a cheap shop) or another idea is to put a table runner down the centre of your tables (or the edge of the bridal table) and line up tea candles on it and put table sprinkles (the little gold or silver cut outs) in between or even rose pettles. You can hire the runners from decorating companies.

Or fill a tall vase on each table with themed things like apples or oranges or you can get scented "wood" balls or something different colours....

I so want to be a wedding planner!

a girlfriend of mine made her centre pieces aswell and they were so pretty! What she did was hire a heap of vases from a party shop, i think she had about 16 tables. she then just went to a cheap shop and bought these long straw kinda bendy stick things in pink (haha i can't think of ne other way to decribe them but they are very inexpensive) and they had pink bead balls attached all the way up them and stood about a metre, she then put a handfull of them in each vase. Also for each seat she had a miniture bottle of PINK sparkleing wine (as her theme was cocktail pink/white/black) with a little tag (which she madeto co ordinate with her wedding invitations, again she made herself) with a quote from Shakespear on it, looked amazing!
Also as they had their actuall ceremony 2 weeks earlier in Fiji, they had wedding photos already which she put on a CD, and everyone got a copy at their seat at the reception.

For the bridal table they had pink gerberas (not sure of spelling) in short vases, she paid for the flowers but again in-expensive though very effective!
Good luck hope that gave u a few ideas for ur wedding day! oh can't wait to have mine!!!

Hi,

I Have done all my own decs for our wedding in a couple of weeks. My theme has been peacock feathers, so I bought some of those glass milk bottles ($2.50 from the cheap shops) spray painted them a metallic colour, and am putting peacock feathers in them on each table instead of flowers. Also lining candles along the tables.

I made our invites, name tags, menus, thankyou cards etc all from the same matching stationary.

A friend of mine had goldfish as her table centre pieces- they looked AWESOME! She bought some big bowls (again from the cheap shops) and filled each one with coloured pebbles and a couple of fish- the fish only cost a few dollars each, then she gave them away to kids she knew!

Good luck and have fun let your imagination run wild!!
