Rip-stop Nylon is a light-weight, water-repellent nylon fabric with inter-woven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern, so the material resists ripping or tearing.

Rip-stop nylon is often used in hot air balloons, kites, parachutes, camping equipment such as lightweight tents and sleeping bags, flags, banners, and many other applications which require a strong lightweight fabric. Rip-stop reinforcement can also be incorporated into heavier fabrics which require extreme durability, such as those used in the manufacture of luggage and Nomex protective clothing for riot police.

you make them out of PUL if you could find a bob print, or you sew on an embroidery patch.

Or if you find a normal bob print you cound have a hidden layer of PUL underneath

here's a nappy I made with a hidden layer of PUL

for the absorbing part of the training pants. (im gunna use the 2nd linked pattern in this thread) i was thinking hemp or bamboo?if i put printed flannelette over it would it matter if its hemp or bamboo? i know bamboo is nice and silky so if i made some without printed flannel i'd go bamboo.it jsut i wanna make a couple with prints on the inside (i like making stuff hard for myself:laughing: ):D
