So ive been told i have one....
Which is also leading to the major calf cramps and allot of mood swings and aching. Anyone else had this before? How long does it usually last for?
I have to get some supplements tomorrow.

Hi
I also had leg cramps and mag deficiency was suggested. Once I took supplements it went away pretty quickly. Someone else had told me that avocados are high in mag - so you might want to treat yourself to a few of those too.

Best of luck

Muscle cramps are often caused by an imbalance in the body's levels of electrolytes - minerals such as potassium, calcium and magnesium - and / or a deficiency in vitamin E.

The best whole food sources of magnesium are almonds, cashews, parsnips, soy beans, wholgrain cereals, brewer's yeast, molasses and mineral water.

Calcium eat more almonds, dairy products, egg yolks, green leafy vegetables, soy beans, molasses and sardines.

For potassium try all vegetables, apricots, avocado, banana, citrus fruits, dates, milk, nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans), potato, raisins, sardines and sunflower seeds.

For Vitamin E you need almonds, corn, egg yolk, nuts, sunflower, beef.

There is a yummy nut spread availble from health food stores called ABC (almonds, brazil nuts, cashews) which would help with magnesium, calcium, potassium and vitamin E intake.

Also, keep up your water intake.
