I was just looking up epharmacy and noticed you can buy vitamins for babies... Does anyone use these, are they any benefit or are little bubbas better off without them??

Harmony, who made the vitamins? I looked once for vitamins for my toddler, she was around 16 months at the time, but all I could find were kids ones recommended for 3+. I'd say vitamins aren't needed for babies before they're on solids since breastmilk or formula will have everything they need. After 6 months, I really don't know.

I haven't see the ones for bubs, but i would think that if they are being b-fed or even f-fed for that matter and are drinking enough then that should be all they need. Thats why they say breast is best i suppose! (Coming from a formula-feeding mum!)
Martha, the Vita-Minis by Herron are for 2+, and i think there is also a Centrum for kids for that age too? I started giving my DD1 them about a month ago, as she doesn't really eat too much at the moment, just for that peace of mind that she's getting SOME nutrients...she loves them and actually asks me for her daily fix!!
I have some Pentavite liquid that I give Eloise 2 or 3 times a week - she's such a fussy eater and hardly eats so I get paranoid. I don't know if they do anything or not - she's certainly healthy and it eases my mind of nothing else!

I'd agree with Shannon that he'd be unlikely to need them - apparently they don't even need the nutrients from solids until 12 months. I'm a bit of a cynic but I figure pharmaceutical companies are out to make a buck and don't mind preying on the good intentions of parents! If he was a toddler who didn't eat anything then it would be a different story.
