My dd is bottle fed and usually half way through her bottle she dribbles quite alot of milk out the side of her mouth. At first i thought she was full but she's still sucks and usually she wont if she's full. So what do you think is she full or does it happen to alot of you??

yeah thats happens with my DD, if she does this I just give her a break then she usually realises what she is missing out on, gets cranky and tries to have more... Try giving her breaks, mayb she isnt hungry at that feed and will be the next feed? Sometimes my bub couldnt b bothered one feed then starving the next! theyre funny little ones... HTH
This happens to my DS too.
I also thought he was full but he still wants to suck.
I give him breaks and try burping him more or at least try to relieve a bit more wind.
I also find that if I warm up the milk again he'll drink better with no dribbles. He doesn't seem to like the milk when it's getting cold.
Hope this helps

Have you tried changing the teat on the bottle?
This used to happen to my DS when he first went on the bottle and a friend of mine told me to change the teat, because the flow on the teat was too fast for his age (or my boy just drank too fast which is probably more the case!). I have found the pigeon teats are really good and fit on most bottles. Perhaps experiment a bit with different teats and see if they make a difference.
Hope this helps
Has she got a cold, snotty or blocked nose? Mitchell does that when he cant breath through his nose properly
Yep... T Man does this too... I just sit him up and burp him and he will take it back and not dribble it out the side until the next burp time...
I agree with all suggestions! I would try giving her a break and burping her - and would also try a different teat. It could just be that she sucks harder at the start which gets the milk flowing out but then when she is not as hungry slows down but the milk keeps coming out too fast.

Hi There!
Yes my DD does this too! She will start off ok then it dribbles out the side of her mouth and onto her chin and can end up getting very messy!
How old is your DD? Mine is 6weeks. Also what bottles/teats are you using? I am using the Avent ones and have just moved onto the number 2 'Slow' teat from the newborn ones as i thought maybe the flow wasn't fast enough IYKWIM? I am still to see if this makes a difference. I also tried a narrow neck bottle but I think it made it worse!
